I’m in a 2x4 tent with spider farmer sf2000 @ 100% power and about 9 inches away , is that to much and to close???

If you can feel the heat from the light on the back of your hand when it is held at the canopy level, then the light is too close. Anything else is fair game.
Based on node spacing, your light is where it needs to be.

Download the Photone app and calibrate it and use DLI and PPFD. Its not about the distance of the light from the canopy anymore. Its about DLI… you can keep your light just far enough away so the leaves don’t get hot but other than that its best to keep the light at a height where the light will be an even distribution. Then control it with the dimmer to correct the DLI

Your PPFD target should be ~800.

Yea after they stoppedstrechting I had to put light all the way to top tent now I’m out of room can’t move no more

I am having the same issue…LOL… i might have to add the 1 foot extension to my tent if they get much taller.
