I center my lights over the plants to maximize coverage.

look at the PPFD output map and decide which spread gives the best coverage.
Better yet, do you’re own map with your lights and position choices.
When I get one of these, the mapping will be inconsequential.

You can also use the app Photone and use it to measure your DLI.
