How far to put my light?

What’s up skins, it’s me again. so I got another light in and put it up today and I would love some advice. They are fecida cr600 (130w each) 1000w equivalent lights and are dimmable. How far above should I have them and also what percentage 50%, 100% etc ?? I have only used 1 light so far and it has done great but I want the best yield possible so I would love to hear from y’all. :call_me_hand:t2:

You need to figure your umols/ppfd to figure the height and intensity needed. Most use the photone app

If you can afford it HLG is 50% off refurbished lights right now or if you spend 1k+ you can choose a free light from their selection

12-18 inches is standard hanging height. I have a 1000 watt equivelent LED that does well at 50% for germ and seedling, 75% for veg and 100% for flower.

This thread will teach you about DLI and how to measure it using a free ap for your phone called photone (was called corona just prior to the pandemic) its an excellent read, one of the most informational and popular threads here on the boards. Ots an indepth explanation of what @BigCat420 is talking about.
