New Grower Yellow leaves

Excellent, great job catching it early :muscle:

@OGIncognito My last runoffs was at 3.2 EC. Is that high? I picked up some extra water last night incase I need to flush out the soil.

Not terribly high, 1600 PPMs. Personally I like 1000 at week 3 of veg until preflower then I bump it out to 1100 in flower and water only the last 2 weeks. I would water only on the next round and see what the outcome numbers are :love_you_gesture:

@BigItch @OGIncognito Thanks for the advise! I thought I would have to do a flush!
I am in soil, 32 days into flower. I will post pictures tonight as I have the light off during the day at 18/6. I’ll water in two more days to get the runoffs readings. (ppm this time OG) Also, my temps in the tent are 83 degrees and 80% humidity. I put in a new dehumidifier today to get the humidity to 50% range. Fan is blowing at a good pace which is moving the plant slightly.

plant broke ground 69 days and flower for 34 days.

I added water to the plant today. The first runoff was 6.4pH and 1780ppm. I want to get the ppm down to 1100-1200 as OG has done. I continued to add 1/2 gallon (1.88 liters) three times to measure the runoff.

6.8 pH in

6.4
6.5
6.7

PPM
1980
2080
1680
I am out of water so in 3 days I will do it again to get the PPM to 1150.
@OGIncognito @BigItch please advise what you think of these numbers.

PH looks great and agree with you on a water only feed for the next round. Not terribly high but anything to prevent that from going up and a potential root/salt lock out. Well done Growmie :love_you_gesture:

I’m going to disagree with @OGIncognito . In coco and hydro yes those numbers are extremely high. Remember we are in living soil with organic nutes. A lot of organic growers will run PPM well over what you are seeing. You don’t flush organic grows like that.
I’ll show you one plant with the numbers taken last night when I watered.
These are average numbers for organic, look it up yourself.

organic nutrients will not cause a salt buildup. In contrast, chemical fertilizers are salt-based, which increases the likelihood of a nutrient lockout.

Great for you, when I see run off numbers and questions on that and soil with no mention of 100% organic I follow a soil routine. Grow on BigItch the organic guru :love_you_gesture:

Let’s get you a living soil organic master to help with @MeEasy. His grows are amazing and now I fully understand you’re wanting an organic grow :love_you_gesture:

I’m by far an organic guru … I also was not trying to be a jerk in anyway… sorry if you to offense to that. :person_shrugging::person_shrugging:
We were commenting prior on this post as to it being organic so I thought you were aware of that.
I’ll let @MeEasy advise I’m sure this is out of my league…

Go ahead @BigItch you are going fine, you are on the same page I would be reading from. I’m sure OG didn’t mean anything by tagging me he ain’t like that

OK, thanks BigItch. @OG is in coco but helped me out earlier. I appreciate his helping me even though I’m in organic soil.
Should I add some Gaia Bloom and worm castings on the next watering to get the PPM up higher @BigItch?
I believe you told me earlier that it takes up to 2 weeks for the nuts to be used by the plant. I think that will get me about 3-4 weeks before the end of the flower period.

@BigItch this was a complement from your pictures growing organically. No offense taken, I follow about 30 peeps on here and chat it up quite a bit. Saw the last post to me and run off numbers and soil and to me that was a typical soil grow. I always tag MeEasy in the living soil because I’m clueless :love_you_gesture:

@BigItch Damn, all of the leaves are turning yellow. Should I get the bag in the air to help get rid of the water that is still in the soil? Let me know what you think please.

It looks to me what is happening is normal, a plant will cannibalize the lower leaves they don’t need anymore towards the end. Your plant looks great

Thanks @MeEasy. Kinda concerned because after I did the runoffs check the leaves accelerated their transition to turning yellow.

I only say that it’s the plant naturally defoliating itself because the rest that is getting plenty of light looks so healthy n happy

Hopefully you are still feeding your soil. Something like black strapped molasses and worm castings/fish shit on top of the Gaia. If your not you should be.
Most plants die off like that towards the end. I’ll add a pic for reference, so you feel at ease.

IMO- you started to over water trying to get E.C down and you don’t really want to do that with organic grows. Your seeing a bit of that with natural plant progression. Also not so long ago you had a pH issue so will see some of that in your older leaves.
If you have your pot sitting in standing water …YES get it on risers
