Thanks ima hope the stretching goes down
Build a mound of soil like a volcano shape around the stem of the plant…This will support the stem somewhat and allow it time to strengthen…I do this whenever I think and see one of my seedlings stretch too much…It really helps.
Thanks I’ll try it when I’m home
Hey @Tyler2 welcome to the forum. Looks like @GreggT and @GreenJewels have you headed in the right direction.
Do yourself a favor and pick one or two people to follow and take advise from. Look at their journals, do you like what you see? Is it a grower you want to emulate? You will find you will get many different opinions on how things should be done. We all have our little personal likes and dislikes. If you listen to everyone you’ll go crazy, but especially when you’re just getting started.
You’ve got two great growers helping you right now. Just wanted to give you a little heads up before you got completely overwhelmed.
Don’t sweat the f Bomb, we won’t suspend anyone for it, unless they just keep it up after being asked to stop.
Okay I won’t say anything like that again but I am lookijg around a lot and people do help a lot when you ask questions
These forums are great. very knowledgeable people who are willing to help and share their knowledge. Its been a huge help for me while learning. Im been on a lot of forums in my life on many different subjects. The vibe here is the best Ive ever experienced. I cant help much as im pretty inexperienced but I dont personally use the dimmer on my grow light. I just adjust intensity by placing my plants at different distances from the light. But I am very much still learning so take that advice with knowing that. welcome to growing. I hope you have a blast. dont get discouraged, and be happy with your first few harvest. It takes time to master this stuff (at least thats what I keep telling myself Lol) hope your buds are fat, frosty and STD free.
That’s what separates this forum from many others. Pretty much everyone here is willing to help another out. It’s a great place. But, that being said, you can have too many people giving you all different techniques, it’ll make your head spin ![]()
Also, if there’s a particular person. You want to speak with, just put @ before their name
@Tyler2
I find to be passionate about growing even tho I started a month ago
Yeah it’s helpful you have alot of ideas being thrown around
I’m late to the party but welcome and good luck!!
You can bury the stem on seedlings and they will root out similar to a tomatoe plants stalk. Just bury her up to her neck and she can’t topple. Tip I borrowed from I believe @MidwestGuy
@AfgVet what is wrong with my plant he looks like he’s dying slowly if he isn’t should I top him do u think it’s timr
I turned the light off to get the pic
Thanks i tried it rn
No. Dont top her. Give her time to adjust. Keep water off her leaves.
Do you think I should let the soil dry out before I water my plants?
No, don’t top yet, she’s not ready. She needs some growth first.
Ohhh okay
is it an autoflower or photoperiod? I havent braved trying topping yet
I let mine dry out quite a bit not completely. I usually water every 3 days in soil. every soil and medium is different really. But i do believe a wet/dry cycle is most common method for soil
