I won some Hash Burger seeds, grow bags and some other goodies in the giveaway. The two plants on the right are from those seeds. The two on the left are Tropicana Cookies I bought from ILGM a couple years ago. I’m trying something new, mixing coco into the soil. I’m using Mother Earth Terracraft , with Vivosun Coco coir added. I plan to topfeed aged chicken manure mixed with water. They will be on ACI self watering bases and I will amend the feedings with cal/mag to offset the coco coir. I plan to top them several times to keep them short and bushy, with lots of center colas. I’ll keep this thread updated with pictures to document my progress, trials and tribulations.

Looks good! Keep your pH in mind as coco and soil both have slightly different pH ranges.

Will let you know that chicken manure is very high in nitrogen so you have to watch that in flower…

Thanks for the heads up. This stuff has been dried, aged in old feed bags and is very powdery now. I mixed some into my raised bed vegetable gardens. I decided on my cannabis grow to try mixing into water and using it that way.

They survived their first topping and they’re liking their steady diet of chicken poop tea. I gave them a dose of cal/mag to help with the 25% coco coir I mixed in the soil.

My first time seeing or hearing of chicken poop tea! 
my brother has a worm farm and raves about his worm tea for all his veggies. We have plenty of chickens at the stables; perhaps I should start collecting their poop for our grows!

It’s “hot” and needs to be dried and aged before use. Lots of nitrogen.

I don’t use teas but I do use shredded paper in my chicken coop. When I clean it out it all goes in my veggie gardens, along with all the other scraps. No fertilizer needed. As @DankyMcSkunkbud said its hot so it goes in in the fall.

Looking good! They are very thirsty these days and the Tropicana Cookies are a little further along than the Hash Burgers. They are both getting a little pungent lol.

Hash Burger is really supposed to come alive in the last couple weeks of flower. It packs on weight in the 8th, 9th and 10th weeks from what I’ve read!
