🌱 Community Spotlight Poll: Best Grow Journals Right Now (round 12)

Show Your Grow Grow Journals

Happy Friday everyone! We’re back again with round 12 — and this week we’re doing something a little different: a Fresh Faces round. Between all the long-runners we’ve already spotlighted, a few brand-new grows and comeback journals have been quietly getting going, so this week’s ballot is mostly growers we’ve never featured before — plus one old favorite we’re bringing back for an encore (more on that below). Give 'em a scroll, drop a like, and vote for the one you’re enjoying most. Winner gets a little ILGM goody bag.

  1. Waxwing’s Back! With Dark Velvet and Blueberry Cookies — A well-liked grower back with a fresh run: four fem-photos (Dark Velvet & Blueberry Cookies) just germinating, coco/soil under a Diablo 750. Get in on the ground floor.

  2. Poseidons Return! Blueberry Muffin organic grow — After two years away, Poseidon1 is back and going fully organic — Humboldt’s Blueberry Muffin, worm castings, and a hunt for that old-school flavor. A great one for the living-soil crowd.

  3. My 420 giveaway prize grow — A giveaway win turned grow journal: Hash Burger from the prize pack alongside Tropicana Cookies, in a coco-in-soil mix. Fun to see what folks do with their winnings.

  4. Doc’s Second Grow — Brought to You By ‘The Gentlemen’ — A newer grower’s second run, full of personality (bonus points if you catch the ZZ Top references). Great to cheer on someone finding their groove.

  5. Vahillbilly’s Grow Journal — :star: Encore pick! A true long-runner going since 2021 with 2,400+ posts and one of the most welcoming threads on the forum. It slipped under the radar when we first featured it a few rounds back, so it’s earned another look.

  • Waxwing’s Back (Dark Velvet & Blueberry Cookies)
  • Poseidons Return (organic Blueberry Muffin)
  • My 420 Giveaway Prize Grow
  • Doc’s Second Grow (The Gentlemen)
  • Vahillbilly’s Grow Journal (encore)

:trophy: The winner gets a small ILGM goody bag! Poll closes Monday and I’ll announce the winner Monday. Got a journal worth highlighting for a future round? Drop the link in the replies — that’s how a lot of these picks get found.

Nice growing, everyone: @WaxwingSlain @Poseidon1 @DankyMcSkunkbud @DocSwink @VaHillbilly :herb:

I’d love to participate and vote but it would be a biased vote, seeings how I have only read a few posts in only one of these journals listed. I don’t have a lot of time to enjoy this forum as much as I’d like and already struggle to keep up on the journals I am following. I just today started watching 5 new grower’s journals from the New Growers Challenge (I love following new growers) and I have a list of veteran grower’s journals (with thousands of posts) that I’ve been wanting to read forever now   And now I see these Polls, and you’re already up to Round 12?

Whoa, I’d better go back to Evelyn Woodhead’s Speed Reading course for recurrent training.
