Hello old friends! It has been two years since ive done a grow. Still sitting on alot! But im done waiting and wanting to try a new grow. This grow will be Humboldt Seed Company’s blueberry muffin. Ive read alot of good on this strain and wanting to try something different then the typical white labeled bs seeds all over the internet. Honestly i threw away alot of seeds i had stashed away from the 90’s a few years back and am regretting it!. Todays seeds are bred for weight with little regard for flavor in todays pheno hunting. Although my weed taste descent, it certainly looks premo, but just lacks that old school flavor. Hopefully this grow will be different!. So, i usually do not get much traffic to my grows bc im like the black sheep, i will do my best to post a weekly update. This grow will be done using down to earths all purpose 4,4,4, rose and flower 4-8-4, seabird guano 0,11,0 and lastly langbeinite 0,0,22. I will also be using worm casting and various microbes. Again, im going for flavor, and organic taste better! I said it. Lastly, i have already proven this with clones on different grow journals documented here! Any and all are welcome. Questions or suggestions are also welcome. There is a few of you im hoping will find this on this journey! Miss you all!
These are one week old exactly i may add.
I also grow organic with Dr Earth. I am using the cannabis grow schedule put out from Dr. Earth with the high feed rate adds.
I am moving from Fox Farms to Roots Organic based on input here.
Also doing a seed to clone to try and get some more even looking plants. Also get 3 plants off 1 seed.
Will follow you for sure.
@pothead64 Clones can be nice, or you could just do one monster. This one is a clone and a monster. Grown synthetic nutes using jacks.
Welcome back and good luck. Looking forward to seeing the grow.
Good to see you are still around! Glad to have another organic bud for the ride!
I use the same lineup except I use the 3-9-4. Also add cottonseed meal to help keep a pH downwards buffer. Oh and gypsum you didn’t have listed.
I remember you liking the cottonseed. We all have a way. Was considering additional calcium…was not sure if enough trace in the 484. Have you had calcium deficiency with that setup minus the gypsum? Was considering calcium 96 from down to earth since the sulphur is covered
I hit the Ca wall in early development without Ca inputs. The FBM release is too slow to keep up, so I need quick uptake. With my 7.5 input water, I don’t need liming, so I avoid sources that affect pH. Gypsum doesn’t influence pH, and the S is in sulfate form already, like the Lang. I do have Cal96 on hand for foliars when needed.
If you use elemental sulfur that is in sulfites form then the Ca lime will just bind to it to form a less soluble form of gypsum.
I will try to watch as I too have gone back to soil. Mine is local Cleveland Ohio soil, Tilthe. Compost they make all from local food scraps. And I’m also water only.
Hopefully I can learn from the 2 of you about some of your tips and trick for amending
We are ALL always learning. Every grow.
Mine too, yours are on point! Welcome back.![]()
Black sheep are fine here! If I was a sheep, I’d be so black I would leave fingerprints on charcoal!
Lol. Then we can relate! Welcome to the ride!
Welcome back following along for the ride growmie ![]()

Bad back. I use 3 gallon pots and make a round top with lowers in the bowl. Keep em small
Have to be able to get em out of the tent to service plants.
Good to see you back!
Looking forward to following along.
Me too!
