I dont know who has read my other post but last month I thought my girls where dying and was over worried because I never grew Seeds that had a name. (Always bag sseeds).
Well my girls seem to be doing AMAZING and wanted to share with everyone and the people who helped with advice instead of being negative towards me. I have tin foil coving the walls and then i have a mirror as the door! (The mirror is to help spread the light towards the bottom of the plants where the light couldnt reach.
These pictures are taken 20days apart.
Right on looking good, keep up the good work my friend
Thanks brother! On the left is Aphrodite and on the right is Achelois; (which means she who washes away pain)
They look awesome going 3 weeks apart in pictures bro, interesting is it greek? I’ll be watching your thread in case of need of help, how old are they as well
Yes, the names are greek godessess! And they are atleast 30days old. Give or take a few days.
The plant on the Left. (Aphrodite) is growing naturally. And the plant on the right Achelois has been topped. I wanted to seen the difference between natural and topped! I still have 3Fem BB seeds left for summer, and have 10 White Widows on there way!!! Im soo excited to get the other ladies in the ground in the summer
Looking good!! I have been doing a lot of reading and I have come across a couple people have mentioned that mirror is not the best for reflecting light. Instead it can create hot spots. Just my 2 cents
No, no thats fine! And it all depends on what type of bulb that is being used.
I am using two 75watt CFLS.(i believe thats the watts. Id have to go look).
But CFLs dont produce enough heat to reflect and create any hot spots
good to know! I am still a newbie.
Well if you need any help where all here for ya
I have a question. Dont known if its just my imagination messing with me, but both plants are doing amazing. Now the plant on the left is growing without being topped and is shorter then the plant on the right that is topped. Could the height difference be because Im topping?
Phenotypes is the reason.
Sativas tend to grow taller than indicas.
Phenotypes and strain genetics play a big role in that, sativas grow taller and less bushier and indicas grow shorter and more bushier
Great job, I highly dought that you would get a negative response from anyone around here… It’s all Positive my friend.
Will
That explains it then. Because the plant on the right is taller and bushier. And the plant on the left is shorter and bushier!!! I thought it was because Im topping the plant on the right and not topping the left one. Even though there the same strain, each plant can be more dominate in sativa/indica?
Yes it’s possible to show different traits even if it’s the same strain, and good bulb for veg yes…and they are looking great
Alright, perfect because I had regular soft white CFL’s. Switched to daylight cfls last nite.
Ok. Last nite my heat buld blew and i wasnt able to get to it and get a new one.
So my question is are my girls going to be fine? They are usually 70-80% daily, but over night it was 55% in the room. (I alway have a thremometer in the room). Sorry for all my worrying, Im just on edge with it getting cold and my girls being cold
