Yeah, i would do the 4 cups again. Of course, using dechlorinated water ph’d to 6.5. I would wait for your branches to get a little longer then you can start spreading her out by tying them down to the sides. Goal being to get more light and airflow to the inside and lower branches. Gonna be a nice plant in the end.
Gotcha! I’m doing distilled. I did get a meter to test tap water for when drench coz that will be pricy if distilled ha. I’ll bondage her up in a week perhaps
Tap water consists of some of the essential micronutrents needed as well, manganese, calcium, magnesium, etc. Just remember to allow it to sit for 24 hrs before use to gas off the chlorine first. Cant wait to view your success.
Gotcha! I’ll make sure to keep aside a few gallon containers this week. I’d imagine run off takes a lot. You will be relieved I’m now good for 4 days lol
Thanks bud!
Anytime. Whatever it takes to achieve ~20% runoff. I use 5 gallon container and usually doesnt take any more than a gallon to get this. May take less or even more depending on your pot size.
Interesting. I didn’t realize that. So if I give her a gallon. I’m looking for 20% of that to run through the pot. If it doesn’t give little more till equals 20% of what I gave? Hmm that math class at school is now coming useful.
Lol yep, you got it!
Here is today. Gave her a big jug on Friday. She feels like tomorrow may want water. Still bit heavy. Is Wednesday too long to wait? Best to wait or best to water? I think she’s doing well. Should I pull down more branches? Should I give nutrients? I have the nutrients I bought from here. H
The chart attached says should have already been giving nutrients. In grow stage
Cannabis tolerates dry better than wet. Notice how your trunk is leaning. Youll want to tie one opposite down by the soil and straighten her back up. Dont want to accidentally uproot her or pull on those roots. Be extra careful paying close attention to the amount of stress on that main stalk. May have to untie the top temporairly while you make your adjustment, then retie her back down ever so gently. Looking good though. Great job!
Got it. I’ll untie the one I have and gently tie down the other direction to straighten up. I did it last week. I don’t think I pulled the roots. Just grew that way. I’ll do as suggested. I’ll attach a pic of when did
Also, i might add the suggestion since she has grown out some since first tie down to tie down a little closer to the end of the main branch. Like setting an animal trap using a sapling if you get what im saying. Goal is to expose as many of those nodes to the light as possible. Each will start growing vertically and want to try to keep them even for a nice even canaopy in the end. Again, she looks good and healthy and youre doing a great job with lst. Keep 'er ripping growmie!!!
lol I will do just that! Thanks. I’ll untie her a little later today then try tie the stem the opposite way as you suggest. Then tie back down.
You think and nutrients when I water her?
Without knowing your runoff tds numbers, i wouldnt feel comfortable advising you to feed her as its always easier to add nutrients when a deficiency shows up rather than trying to flush in emergency due to feeding excess nutrients. Try to maintain between ~850 to ~1000 ppms in your runoff for soil. Cant remember what medium you are using. Hard to keep up with what every grower is using lol…
Thanks bud! No clue how to check that. Off to Google I pop.
FoxFarms Happy Frog
You can get a good tds pen off amazon pretty cheap. A pH meter is a bit more expensive, blue labs or Apera is what everyone recommends, but will be a necessity. Im adding this chart if i havent done so already you will need. Fox farm soil has enough nutrients in it to last the first 4-6 weeks.
Dont forget to order this. Definitely will need to use this as well.
When you start using nutrients, remember 1/2 dose first few times to see how she reacts. Once painted nails appear then dial her back a touch.
Now that i looked back on this thread i see youre using bergmans. Disregard my nutrient chart and sledgehammer suggestion. I should have looked before. My bad…
