Marty McFly Weed 2nd grow Journey/Journal

I just dropped 4 seeds (seeds i bought from ILGM) into a cocktail glass with 1 part hydrogen peroxide and 2 parts distilled water. 2 Mowie Wowies and 2 NY Diesels. I have them in my grow tent in the dark at 78 degrees. Tick tock, tick tock…
Stay tuned. I plan on recording everything i do to these new plants for the entire grow right here. 4+ months of my interactions with these new cannabis plants. I am hoping all 4 will pop. I have 4 seedling cups filled with spent soil and some fresh perlite i added to aid in drainage. I will be praying to God tonight that he will bless me with 4 beautiful potent flowers… wish me luck

Godspeed

First question, where did we get this germination technique from? I’m not saying it’s not a valid one, I’m just not aware of it.

Which part? The hydrogen peroxide or in the tent in a glass of water? I learned it all from here. This is what ILGM says to do to their seeds also.
I have a terrible time germinating seeds doing it my way. So i am trying it thier way this time.

I normally would just stick them between wet paper towels in a shoe box in a closet.

I also ran them over some 60g sandpaper. I had one seed completely disintegrate…lol it must’ve been cracked open or just a frail seed because i just slid them back and forth in a tube.

It was the peroxide. I’m familiar with using the glass of water and the tent is a great idea for controlling light, temp and humidity. I love learning new stuff. Can’t wait to see them babies busting through! :sunglasses::metal:t2:

I have also been using paper towels. I did find that only 2 sprays from a spray bottle on each side worked better than really damp. I also use to put them in baggies, but later found just setting them on a regular (not paper)plate in the cabinet worked best. I’ve also heard of people scratching the seeds, but I think that’s generally if they are failing to germ normal.
You can probably ease up on the belt sander.:rofl::sunglasses::metal:t2:

The peroxide helps oxygenate the seeds. I am feeling the anxiety.

Seed heating mat, paper towel and zip lock. I’m 5/5 on seeds popping.

You’ve got great seeds. They’ll pop. For any reason there’s a problem, you got ILGM’S support behind you. :sunglasses:
