Kief from Trim Bin

It just started doing that to me today. Then I saw yours so wanted to see if maybe it’s this new iOS.

We save it and when we have enough we decarb it and use for. Dosing edibles. Rightnow have about 40 grams of clean kief.

Bovedas can alter the flavors of products after the dry and cure is good as it has already went thru the phases it needs to go thru in conversions. Bovedas pks will dry it to the cure point faster after it’s all dry and cures is best to add bovedas pks for long term storage if u know u won’t touch it for a while. Good luck. I use a press and press my hash and kief. Can press it with a hair strait ER but u do need micron bags to add the kief in so u don’t get the materials just the oils from it.

Here is what I find if u guys haven’t found anything yet.

40g of clean kief will give u I’d say 35 back on extracting it. 35 grams x 35 a gram got some money’s there sitting. Lol. I smoke all my 36 dollars worth. Lmao

It’s not happening to everyone. If it is happening to you, you can post the pic, once posted, save the pic then edit the pic and rotate it. Then repost. This is for using the site on your phone. Pc seems to work fine for me.

Yah i think they stuff yah smoke up those humidity packs dont like them they dry ur flower to much they suck to much moisture out of the flower

Yep. You just needs the rosin bags. 25 micron size is best for keif. If you buy the rosin bags you could just use a hair straightener lol it wont be as easy but it can be done. The point is you don’t need a spendy press right out of the gate. But it is nice

I use Bovida myself, but only after the RH of bud is just below 62%. A bovida pack can only pull in so much moisture until it levels off. If you have more that that left to go the rh can exceed 70% and that would be bad.
I posted this thread a while ago and still cure with this method using rh meters in the mason jar lid. Drying nets until 62% or less, (4-6 days usually), as measured by the meters. Then jar up for long term in mason jars with Bovida. (BTW the lids with meters installed are not left in place for storing).

First harvest for me
I have the jars and meters built in and a bunch of stand alone meters
Also have boveda packs and I’ve realized it’s easier without them …maybe they’ll get used to try and rehydrate some garbage dispo buds

I ultimately went with 1/2 lb grove bags
Either method there’s no way around getting your buds to the right place before using any of them
I’ve also put in each bag a govee WiFi monitor

Finally have mine stabilized here …
I’ve been moving them all around the house and there’s no difference in RH for the most part

You mean you’re going to convert one into rosin press? Or you have 3 rosin presses?!? :hushed:

Lol, my bad. I have 3 presses in the shop for work. 21ton and a couple of 10-12.
Looked into that brand you have I believe. Just buying the plates and controller.

Nice I didnt even realize you could purchase just the plates and controller. I always jump in too quick. I bet I could have built something better than what i bought for a lot cheaper.

It gets results though. Here’s a half ounce of some bomb stuff, hot off the press…
