Is this bud rot?

Hard to tell from that pic. Did you just wash it? Looks like it could have been.

Yeah I bud washed them about a week ago. I wasnt sure because I got sick and. Could not chop it until Nov 1. The leaves were really colorful and it got cold at night that last week. So I wasnt sure. Iā€™ll cut that one open and get better pics. And if it is rot I know not to smoke it but can I make a pain cream from them?

That defo looks like BRā€¦ ISOLATE that nugget then pull on a few darker buds/calyxā€¦

Does it come out too easily, and crumble like its too dry? If so, destroy that bud and SANITIZE yourself. Then check the interior of any buds that were close to it.

I would never recommend smoking infected nugsā€¦ we grow to avoid getting stuff like that man. If it turns out to be icky, toss it and anything else infected. U can grow more nuggets. U cant grow lungs in a petri dishā€¦

Yeah definitely not going to smoke but was going to use to make pain cream with coconut and wax I think it said on recipe I found online

All buds that look suspect at all I separate. Most time loss them but this time thought about the cream.
I know some ā€œfriendsā€ that smoke shit like that. They ask for any I wont smoke. I wouldnā€™t give it. Donā€™t want a tone getting sick from my plants.

I have seen bud rot from those damn caterpillars. But never seen it from moister. In they valley we donā€™t get much rain but we did last week of October.

Happens man. Im around the gulf. Never really saw mold until on monstercrop went into flowerā€¦ since, ive fought diff kinds of molds in a completely diff property at least 2 of 3 next grows. Never saw it beforeā€¦

Sidenote: my buds have gotten alot denser, which is good. But alot more conducive to BR and WPM

I didnt do to bad this year got a out 85 oz dried. Its curing now. I lost about 15 oz to rot or not looking ā€œrightā€. About 16 oz i froze to to press, 5 gallon bags of frozen trim and popcorn buds for bubble hash and 4 gallon baggies of dry trim to run over screens. Was a VERY good harvest

I grew more this year because itā€™s my last outside grow have to move indoors in a 4Ɨ4 tent.
