There are a ton of bacteria, molds and mildews when a bud is rotten even if just in small places. Don’t smoke the rotten parts and make absolutely sure that it has not spread to any other parts before smoking.
Why take a risk…get rid of it. If it makes you sick you will regret smoking it.
