Newbie tent grower. Six Plants at 8 weeks in 3 gallon cloth bags, fox farm coco loco, fish fertilizer and a little other nutes. 18-6. Not cropped. Haven’t done much more but keep them watered. Plants fill up the tent nicely. Is it time to kick to flower yet? Plants are about 4 feet tall. What next? Time kick into 12-12?

4 feet tall sounds like you may wish you flipped much earlier.
Do you have pictures? How tall is your tent?
I ask because plants typically double in flower. You may want to do some HEAVY duty cropping/pruning before flipping. Depending on tent capacity

My original tent is 4x4 x 80 inches. Call me crazy, and is long story. but i planted 10 auto GDP feminized seeds and 2 died, so i had some old Northern Lights fem"s still in the 5 pack and planted them soon after. Because they were like five years old only 2 sprouted. The 10 plants out grew the tent, so i bought another 4x4x80 $68 tent on Amazon. We now have 2 tents in our bedrooms upstairs devoted to our “garden”. More crazy , I planted some autoflower White Widow about 2 weeks ago thinking the fem’s would not outgrow the tent. Well they did. We now have 6 GDP in one tent. The other tent has 2 GDP and the 2 Northern Lights… In the same tent is the 9 autoflower, 3 of which where transplanted yesterday in 3 gallon bags and the balance to be transplanted this weekend.

All that said, the back story is about 5 years ago, i set up a grow in another bedroom. My 12 yr old grandson from Tennessee mother died at 30 and he moved in with us. I put a keyed lock on the door and he was never the wiser. After harvest, we decided to break down tent until he got older. He is now 17 and lives with his dad, so this is our 2nd grow. First grow 5 yrs ago was bag seeds. Fairly happy back then with results.

Haha awesome story! Welcome back to the scene then. Having good genetics makes it easier and smokes better. Good news is you have a ton of space and know every single moment you went over board. Bad (or well not bad… kinda good in a yield kinda way) news is you went overboard again then again lol.
But having too much weed is never a bad thing. Id normally scream flip those lights asap. But you may have time and kind of the perfect setup to get your feet drenched. Ill wait for pics before i ramble your ear off

This is 2nd tent. It has 2 GDP fem’s, 2 Northern light fem"s in the corners and the remainder 9 small plants White Widow autoflower.

Ordered a 5x5x80 and will tear down a 4x4. This should give the plants more room. Trimmed and cropped the large plants. We will see where they go from there.

@1954dw I blew by your pic quick and then did a double take thinking that was a - ahem - throne inside your tent. Almost spit… I was thinking add an air fryer and I’d never leave.

You’re going to need all 3 of those tents up with all the plants you have planted.

Got the 5x5 today. Will move plants in the other room, tear down a tent and sent up the new one. My plants are cranking! Learning allot on this one. Sorry to say, we forgot almost everything lesson learned on my first grow 5 years ago. Plan is to put all the feminized plants in the bigger tent and the auto flowers in the remaining 4x4. The autoflowers will get my full attention, already starting to train a couple of them that have been transplanted into the 3 gallon air pots.

5x5 now has 10 feminized plants, eight GDP and the 2 Northern lights. Filled it right up. Need to diddle with the lighting, and reposition them tomorrow…sea of green.

New 5x5 with 8 GDP and 2 Northern lights. Four of the plants are shorter than the others. Elevated those on boxes and available buckets. The 10 plants fills up the new tent. The other 4x4 has the autoflowers.

Plants are very healthy. I did prune the lowest part of the plants as suggested by @PurpNGold74 .
