So I’m going to need some suggestions on this since people Veg different times then switch to flower. Right now my Beautiful lopsided Grand Daddy Purp is 3 weeks into Veg Tuesday will be week 4. I am running a supposively “2000 watt” LED light. I know it’s not true watts. But anyways this is what she looks like now
I have trained her too. I transplanted 2 days ago to 7 gal pot and she got a bit taller within 2 days after transplant. I want too get most out of her but don’t want her to get too tall where it’s touching LED light (since I can’t move light up anymore) say if I veg for week 4 or even week 6 then flip light schedule to 12/12 (plus I’ll be doing SCrog method pruning/defoilating before the flip to 12/12) will I get a really good yield or is it better to just wait 8 weeks then flip to 12/12 to get better yield? I’m using organic bloom tea and organic veg tea throughout cycles.there is no set guide lines for when to flip. I go off the size of my plant. when they are about half the size I want when finished I flip. it tends to be around 6 to 8 weeks. time vegging has alot to do with the size of ur plant and yield but more importantly quality of light. sadly ur blurple probably wont grow huge dense buds, everyone here has done it.
Don’t know how tall your tent is but GDP is listed as a low wide plant. Up to 3’-4’ max height. You can always bend it over and tie it down among other types of training.
I agree if you don’t have the space to let it grow up much then you need to train it to grow sideways because if you flip to 12s with that little plant you’ll be lucky to get more than 1 dry ounce out of her. Start tying down the branches before they get to woody or you’ll end up breaking em off. You don’t have to do a manifold exactly but train her in that style. Google manifold training nugbuckets has some good stuff but there’s alot on it out there. The 1st pic is my current grow the other is a nugbuckets grow… good luck

Okay I got it now. Yeah I haven’t flipped lights under 8 weeks veg. I came into a problem… Don’t get me wrong this cheap led light is good for vegging cause GDP is thriving but my led light just stopped working… The problem I have now is that I really don’t kno where to put GDP right now… My 3x3 is already full and flowering. My 5x5 tent has 9 plants in it. 4 are in 7 gallon smart pots, 2 is gonna be in 5 gallon buckets the other 2 will be in smaller pots (since it’s one autoflower and one CBD plant). Do you think it’s overkill if I put the gdp in 5x5 with others? (gdp is in 7 gallon smart pot) I also got 2 other plants germinating (don’t know if I should put them in 4 or 5 gallon pots and stick them with the others in 5x5 tent) I would use 3x3 tent but I got roughly 6 weeks left on the 2 plants in there. Before I forget I will be SCrogging if that will help any
This is exactly what I want my plants to look like how it’s spread out like that
no its not over kill if you have no where to out it.wow thats alot of plants
It is alot lol I decided to have more plants cause I tend to run out of bud since I smoke every hour or two everyday. I absolutely hate running out cause I know it is gonna take couple weeks til next plant gets done with my schedule. do you think it will effect yield if it’s a little crowded? I know the general rule is a sq ft per plant. All I have for light is 1000 watt hps. I know 4 plants that are in 7 gal pots in 5x5 I’m gonna have to veg them to atleast 9-10 weeks just so the others can get a good bit of time vegging then flip lights.
man I am doing 8 autos in a 2x4 next grow. all organic and in 2 gallon cloth pots. I will train the crap out of them. SEA OF GREEN!!! ur good.
With the sea of green method I can still tuck plant in net to train them?
I dont see why not, I follow no rules. I just grow how I want. every grow I do is diffrent from the last. i think the net would work great for that.
Get what you can into the 5’. Its all good. Sit shorter plants on milk crates if you have to so they get good light.
This is what is going on in tent right now. 3 didn’t sprout but 2 did and the clone is getting new growth for that one I I cut and stuck it in moist soil and put a cup over it until I can go to the market to get something lol. The auto flower GG4 did lnt sprout at all yet. But anyways it will be 9 plants. 1 CBD plant, 1 sativa, the rest indica dominate hybrids. It looks like I’m gonna have enough room if I get them like you said too do.
@kdawgAwesome. Looking good!
