Hydro Growers - what are your NPK ratios including calmag?

You absolutely can, some do, some don’t.

I generally just gauge how much training that strain will need during its grow cycle. Iv found most ILGM autos need very little and they grow pretty flat and wide. Just my 2 cents.

Okay, thank you @Autos-only ! Much appreciated.

Agree with @Autos-only, I don’t see anything concerning :love_you_gesture:

Is this something to be concerned about? They are 23 days old. PH is 5.8 (5.9 in the trays), ppm is 1030, Jacks says it should be 1050… DLI was 26 but I just turned it down to 23 thinking they might be getting too much light. I’m thinking this might be classic nute burn but the light green between the veins is throwing me like they’re not getting enough mg.

It has me a little concerned so I want to correct it before it gets out of hand. Especially with these being auto’s.

Thoughts?

You shouldn’t have a need for cal/mag with jacks.

I run about 800ppm jacks with autos.

How are you mixing your solution?

Looks like a Mg deficiency to me. But remember that those feed charts are just guides. Nutrient requirements still differ from strain to strain

What do you run your epson salt at?

I’m lowering my nutes closer to 800… I used the top feed dosing by accident… I’m using 1.3g for epsom salt and am wondering if I should also be scaling that back? Also using 2ml silica and 2ml hydro guard.

I’m running 4/2 no epsom salts. Seems to be very good and reliable.

Like @Autos-only Ive been running a 4/2 schedule. Cut the Epsom out….part A has magnesium and sulfur included :love_you_gesture:

@Autos-only @OGIncognito

Okay, thank you both. I’ll start backing the Epson salt off now that I think we figured it out. The plants already look way better after bringing my EC down to 1.6 (from 2.1 :joy:) yesterday. Thanks again!

Awesome! Does look better!

I’m a firm believer in less is more, sometimes it’s just the safer approach.

Agree, easier to fix a deficiency than toxicity :love_you_gesture:

@Autos-only

Thank you both. They’re 4 full weeks as of today and continuing to improve. All are just going into pre-flower. Do you personally run bloom per Jacks schedule? Or do you stick with A-B all the way through? (I’m using the 15-5-20 tap due to my local water calcium being 65.3mg/L). I was thinking of running bloom next week after a little recovery. Thoughts?

I just use the 4/2 5/12/26 and calcium nitrate.

You will probably benefit from a bloom schedule, you have a lot of nitrogen and little phosphorus.

Good to know. I’ll be back in town tomorrow and will look at switching to bloom. I’ve been gone for several days and the Autopots and new nute levels seem to be working out well from what I see from my grow room camera. :+1::+1:.

The jacks schedule shows to run Bloom for only a week if I recall correctly. It doesn’t seem very long unless I’m misinterpreting something? From how they looked when I left, I’m thinking they are 5-6 days into pre-flower as they were just starting to show initial signs the day I left.

If this is the Jacks 10-30-20…run it the first 3 weeks in flower then transition back to 321 or the 4/2 if you’re using that schedule. Plants are looking great Growmie :love_you_gesture:
