how long does it take for trichs to change from clear to cloudy to amber?
are we talking hours, days, weeks?

There’s alot of things that will change the times like your lights, food, strain, and environment I’m sure I missed some more. Breeders give you a flower time and almost always you will need to add around 2-4 weeks, remember time doesn’t start until flowers are actually present not at light change
Agree with @MeEasy. Just my 2pennies also sativa dom strains seems to take a bit longer than indica dom strains but either way ur looking at weeks
Usually around 8 weeks is minimum rarely 7s but 8 weeks is usually a rounded number ppl refer to flowering as
I’m more interested in the last couple of weeks.
Meaning once the trichs start going milky…
how easy can i miss my window of harvest?
Is it an hour a day a week?
There is about a 2-3 week harvest window from when they trichomes are mostly cloudy until they are majority amber. The buds near the bottom are a week or so behind those on top anyway.
The effect of the buzz is changed as the amber increases and some may notice the difference, but it would be a personal preference anyway and you are good to harvest anytime during the 2-3 week window with no harm or loss of potency.
this probably gave me enough confidence to go on and cut her down…lol
I’ve seen wem flash in less then a week so be vigalant and make sure you check multiple areas on the plant …dont go by the tricks on sugar leaves look as deep into the plant as possible check the middle areas as a general census I’d says from 50% milky to all milky (which is highest thc lvls) and amber will come witha good cure and proper drying …alot if ppl mess up a cure so alot of ppl like to harvest and dry at signs of a good amount if amber this way if your cure gets messed up your Tleast at high thc lvls and dont need to cure out to get thc lvls up …I know I’ve smoked much grassy weed that got me freaking liiiittt… lit beyond most of the weed I smoked in my life …and I’ve smoked ALOT and plan on smoking alot more for alot less being a more and more seasoned grower … I’ve been doing this almost 3 years strait now and cant wait to keep progressing and learning ![]()

is flush an issue when in soil with organic fert. ?
so as soon as all the trichs went cloudy i can harvest and they will turn amber when curing???
Correct but u will never have all cloudy and 0 amber its usually around 10% clear 80% milky 10 amber that would be my signals to look for …think trics are produced one after another they dont all pop out at same time… there are times when tric production is heightened but still it’s an average of what you want… it yes trics can amber up during cure infact potency increases with cure because alot of cannabinoids are flipping from …I think cbg to thc throught this process
This a bud i found 6 monthes later it wasent this golden amber looking before it was strait funk 6 months later
