First timer here, hard getting clear pics of trichomes with microsope, but here they are. Not sure if these are cloudy or not and don’t see any amber yet on trichs, so I’m assuming another couple of weeks at least? Want to make sure I’m looking for the right things. Amnesia Haze Auto, outdoors on Long Island, thanks in advance!

It’s kinda hard to get a good look at the trichs from those shots. Clear look like glass, cloudy look like plastic or little pearls, amber is, well, amber lol. Need a couple bud shots, maybe a closer shot of the whole plant. When hairs are at about 80% red and turned in, then check trichs.

Based on the first grouping of photos, I can see plenty of white pistils which tells me you have at least two more weeks before the pistils all turn brown. Once that happens you can start looking at trichomes. There is a two to three week window where you can harvest with slight trade offs in earlier or later harvests.

Chart is great, just hard to have steady hand with microscope to look at clear pics like that

I agree, I downgraded to a jewlers loupe. You can always lop off a small portion of a bud to get a good clear look under your scope. Some people here have converted microphone stands to hold their usb microscopes more steady.

Ok best this unsteady hand ids going to do. Looks like they’ve turned cloudy, with some hints of amber. Still a couple of weeks away? How much amber on trichs is peak? Better to cut a little short, or go a little longer? Thank god for the experts here!

Mostly cloudy with a chance of a strong head high. Good high but no couch lock yet that I see.
