Trichromes cloudy to amber

After the trichromes begin to go cloudy, how long does it take before they begin to go amber?

Since every strain is different, it takes what it takes. Scope may different buds everyday. Just keep an eye out for the change.

Remember, your trics will continue to mature even after you harvest. Take that into account when deciding when to harvest.

I’m worried if it happens overnight I won’t have time to flush. I’m growing OG Kush autos, indoor under led in soil.

It won’t happen overnight but you def don’t have enough time to flush properly. I would commence flushing ASAP.

Need pic of trics, remember to look at trics on buds and NOT the sugar leaves. Sugar leaves mature faster than bud trics.

Don’t delay flush away!! Pronto…for future grows flush 1 or 2 weeks sooner, definitely by trich hunting season!

don’t sweat it Butters,
just water when needed with straight pH’d water no fert’s.!!
as long as u didn’t have N or P toxicities they will be fine.!

it sounds like u r 3-4 weeks from harvest.

if u r seeing 50%+ cloudy and less then 50% clear u r 2-4 weeks from harvest,
at 75% cloudy u will start to see an amber head here and there, 1-3 weeks away,
when u see 15-25% amber and less then 5% clear they r ready to chop.!!

Remember to use the suggested harvest date for your strain to start checking for amber.

Most strains are so consistent nowadays that if they say flower period is 8 weeks, then there is really no reason to start checking trikes at 5 weeks.

If it has an 8 week flower period them i usually start checking at about 7 weeks.

If this was 1980 and strains were not as consistent then it would be more imperative to be checking throughout the flower period
