I can’t remember from last year as I just planted my first small crop. Warm water?
Usually 24 hours brother
Thank you for the quick reply.
Not a problem. Holler if you have any questions or need anythin, I’ll help.asu have as I can
I’ve been soaking my seeds for 30 hours now, so far only one little sprout coming out? should these be kept warm? And what should they look like before I put them in soil?
When I soak mine I place them in complete darkness, the ambient temperature is around 75ish. You can go a head an plant them or put them in their respective homes now if you want. They don’t necessarily have to pop before you plant them.
I apologize dumme, we must of replies at the same time
I have 10 White willow seeds but can only get 5 under lights. Should I germinate all 10 seeds in case they don’t all germinate? should I take them out of the water?
You’re good brother, np.
I would do the 5 and see how many of any don’t germinate. Then if you need to you can germinate the amount that don’t so you don’t waste any sees, if that makes sense
I recommend only 2-3 at a time until you get the hang of the process.
I’ve already have the 5 in water for over 30 hours, should I take them out and plant in soil NOW?
For me I soak for 24 hours then plant them.
Thank you, I will.
No problem brother, if you need anythin just holler at me.

I have my soil in pots, ready to put seeds in, how deep, do I soak the soil before or after. One more question, my lamp says 150 watts, my grow lamps says 15W? It’s round with round lights
The soil needs to be moist, not too wet and not too dry. About a 1/4" deep or so
When I do it, although I don’t do things by the book. I’ll wet the soil a little then plant the seed about a 1/4" down an lightly cover it back up with soil. After it sprouts I most the soil around the seedling. You want the soil moist, not too wet and not too dry, like a happy medium
VG 12W is okay for my lamp, it’s a Vintage Grow grow light, my lamp says no higher wattage than 150 watts.
