I had a question occur to me today as I was looking at the last of my photoperiods in my tent.
This is an ILGM AK-47 and has just been going berserk from the start.
My debacle I’m having is with this huge bud structure that has almost like fox tail like “additions” to it.
How would you tell it is ready for harvest?
The issue I had in my head and maybe I’m over thinking it but there are so many pistils ( on the inside so to speak and new ones outside).
There are clearly very new bud areas and then older more established buds.
Would you typically wait for the pistils to go orange and trichomes to be ready etc or would you go by the trichomes regardless of the pistils?
Here’s some pics of it and I’ll post some trichome pics just to give an idea.
I had read everywhere AK47 typically speaking is a fast finishing strain which is why I’m asking just in case I do miss something I don’t mess myself over by accident.
I’m not sure but them buds look huge! Good job.
Looking back through your other threads it looks to me like its in week 7 of flower…
I will say its got 2 or 3 weeks still and will keep getting fatter. The inner flowers will be fine. Its just the way they grow.
Btw, its so much easier to help if all the info is in a single thread.
Beautiful buds! Just my opinion but I’d let them ripen more. I don’t see any amber in your trichrome pics. I’d also want to see ALL of the pistils turn amber and start drawing up.
Thanks everyone. I knew you all would have the answers. This huge ridiculous football size bud structure isn’t something I’ve dealt with before and was making sure I was armed with the knowledge needed before I F something up

That’s crazy, I’ve just never seen this and thought she was done building a while ago. I already got every single bud on yoyos
