So I’m worried. I’m growing an AK47 auto. I busted out the old jewelers loop tonight just to get an up-close look at my girls. It appears as if nearly all the trics are cloudy and she should be NOWHERE near being ready for harvest. The buds are still super skinny and the pistils are still nearly all white.
I’m so confused. I do NOT want couch-lock bud. Please tell me I can let her fatten up! I expected at least 4-5 more weeks. Here are some pics of the buds. I’ll post tric pics when my microscope gets here in a few days.
LOL @MeEasy is correct leaves are liars. You definitely have some time before harvest. When you get your microscope I believe you will see that the trichomes on the actual buds are still clear.
You are much closer, first you need to get some pics in natural light. Hard to see much with grow lights on. But your buds are getting fat and pistils are starting to go rust colored. You probably know that you need to judge the trichomes based on how cloudy. 100% cloudy and they are at there peak level of THC content. If you want a more couch lock effect then you want to allow some amber.
I’m seeing some clear and not much amber at all. So I believe you need to let it keep going. You are going to see those buds fatten up over the next few weeks. Worse case is you end up with to much amber. Best case you end with some fat buds that’s pure fire
