Grow lights, best for hydroponic grow

Friends I’m in the market for some grow lights. Need 110v. Need suggestions for best lights for entire growing process. I have been told they must be at least 650v for flowering.is that true? There’s so much out there you don’t know what to believe when it comes to sales pitch I have seen some of the most awesome pictures on this forum that I know you can lead me in the right direction. I’m going hydroponic next grow in a 4x8 tent. Please help with suggestions. Thanks in advance.

First 4x8 space will not be cheap to light with quality lights. You will not go wrong with HLG lights Personally, I would look at using two lights in your 4x8 space will give you some flexibility.

I’m really happy with my new AC Infinity EVO light. They make them in various sizes, and they happen to be on sale at the moment. HLG also makes excellent lights.

Hlg is having a refurbished sale until October 3rd you can get some great deals through there two scorpions or scorpion diablos would work nicely or even 2 -650 R’s
@Low has a pretty nice light thread put together with a lot of choices

HLG is pretty much the standard by which all others are judged. Plan on spending around $1.00 per watt when buying LED’s and you need around 200 watts to properly flower out one plant. Having multiple fixtures in your grow space will help with things like a bad light driver (if you only had one light it would shut down your grow) and saves electricity as you don’t need a big light for little plants. Which is about half of your grow.

I would also point out that you will more than likely need a chiller. Unless you are set up in a cold space your liquid temps will get out of hand.

I run four home made light fixtures in my 4 X 8 space.

in my personal experience 650 watts of quality LED lighting will grow as many plants as you want to in a 4x4 tent you won’t even need to have the light turned all the way up so two of those would be more than enough for a 4x8 again just my thoughts/experience

Can we see the lights?
I ask because I’m building a fixture for my lights and I want inspiration.
Thanks

Wow! Those are really nice. Great job.
I plan to build a fixture to hold my SF-1000 lights.

It’s cost effective to build your own if you have heatsink material.
