What size light is recommended
~200 watts from Samsung LM301 high efficiency diodes. AC Infinity, HLG, and Spider Farmer are all good options.

Make sure that the model you buy is built with Samsung LM301 diodes. There are b, h, and EVO models of LM301 and they are all good.

Which one is okay…And what brands to stay away from?
There are all kinds of lighting scams out there. Stay away from any brand that doesn’t manufacture their lights with LM301 diodes. Unfortunately some brands claim to use LM301 diodes who don’t. KINGLed is one of the scam brands who do this.
I’m not sure that I trust the Vivosun listing given Vivosun’s history with lights. The Spider Farmer light is fine so long as you go with the SF2000, which is a 200 watt light. Spider Farmer has had a rocky history as well, but they have turned the page in recent years.

I have vivosun, spiderfarmer, Parfactworks, and vispactor. The 301 evo has the highest yeild followed by vivosun and Parfactworks 301h. The 301 b in vispactor and ipower seems to cause alot of stretch 301b.
