Will be used in a 2x2 tent
There is only one type of light that i can recommend; Spider Farmer.
I run 10 of the SF-1000 dimmable lights for my four plants in a 8x10 grow room. I’ve been using them for a few years now and really like them.
Hey my friend @fordk59 the light is a 200w light but I feel the diodes are not newer technology and not as efficient as never diodes, I am a fan of HLG Horticulture lighting group and their 200w Rspec light is about 60 bucks more than that light, but top of the line diodes. It would be money well spent and if you order it through HLG use the discount code DUDE for 10% off to save a few dollars. I run HLG 100s for each of my plants 2x2 space and get fantastic results. A 200w in your 2x2 is a lot but it also has a dimmer good luck my friend
oh hlg has a great 150w Rspec dimmable for 179 bucks that would be great in a 2x2 also
Try California light works great for the ladies and make a noticable difference in days
Don’t mean to be harsh, but the light is junk and the company that makes it is flat-out dishonest. Buy a light built with Samsung LM301 diodes. Aglex uses low performing Epistar burple diodes and is known for lying about their light’s capabilities. The actual wattage of the light is probably more like 100 to 150 watts, and not a good 150 watts at that. These cheap lights use the wattage they consume producing more heat rather than light because they are inefficient. I bought one several years ago, wasn’t happy with it, and wrote a scathing review on Amazon that is still there for their 2000w model. The company then emailed me to try to offer me money to change or delete my review, so they manipulate their reviews as well. I reported the misrepresentation to Amazon, but they have done nothing about it. The email they sent me is shown below.
The claims they make about the light are not true and you are better off with the light you have.
Additionally - it is impossible to produce a quality 1,000 watt light for the stated price. Quality lighting should cost a little over $1.00 per watt.
HLG, Mars Hydro, and Spider Farmer use quality diodes in their newer products. HLG uses LM301h diodes and the other 2 use LM301b diodes. The h model is about 10% more efficient. The b model is what I use and they perform just fine.
Were telling me my CLW was junk ?
California Light Works makes decent lights. It is the Epistar burple LEDs that are junk.
I believe so too nice warranty nice ppfd and they make their own diodes
Amazon light kinda all suck
Yep. Lots of dishonesty about the grow lights from the sellers on Amazon too.
The general rules I try to recommend are:
No veg/bloom switches.
Most LEDs with a daisy chain capability are junk.
Avoid lights that put out a purple hue colored lighting.
Stick with lights built with LM301 series diodes.
There are a few exceptions to these “rules,” but they help keep people from buying products that are going to lead to disappointing results from a grow.
There was a man who bought 4 different lights from Amazon and Samsung agree to test all diodes and only SF were using
lm 301b leds
Mars Hydro also uses the Samsung LM301b model. HLG did a couple of years ago, but have since upgraded to the h model.
I run solar Xtreme s now but want the solar system so i can control every aspect of every wave length
HLG is having a 20% off refurbished units right now till Oct 2nd i think… CODE: refurbs
Just picked up a blackbird last night for half of what a new one is along with a year warranty. 5th light ive boight from HLG
Awesome!
Thanks for the tip!
Needed another little veggie light. They had it mispriced on the refurbs page at msrp a couple weeks ago when I looked. It’s all good now, and a discount to boot? Sweet!
Hate to hit you up personally but I think I can trust what you say. I got 2 NL autos both were in a tent but one is starting to get a little bit taller than i thought and was crashing or going to into the light i wonder should I move them to a closet?
Not sure what you mean by crashing, but it is normal for plants to grow at different rates and end up with differing heights at maturity.
Again, don’t understand the question here. Move them to accomplish what?
No worries. It’s what I am here for.
The top bud site is about to be against the light and i figured if i moved it to the closet i can make a couple more inches of room for them to grow
