Help me choose a light (complete newbie)

Hi all. Please help me choose the correct lightning for my autoflowers. I have two options: to buy new light (that will be delivered in 2 weeks, when my tree will be at its 24-26th day). They are on photos 1 and 2.

  1. 30W/50W LED Outdoor Floodlight with Motion Sensor - 6500K Cool White. $18.
  2. 30W/50W LED Spotlight, Two-color (6500K & 3000K). $25

Or to place them under my regular lamps in my apartments (photos 3-4) and don’t buy anything. Here are the bulb characteristics:

  1. Simple bulb, I have only of this - 4W, 6500K. 44 mA,265Lm,. AC 230V-50 Hz. Gu 10.
  2. Lamp with engraving/with stripes (I have exactly two spots to place under). LED lamp, Gu 10, 3000K. AC 230V-50 Hz.

The lights you posted aren’t adequate to flower a cannabis plant. Do you have a budget in mind? How many plants do you intend to grow?

Take my advice and spend the money on some quality light fixtures Grow Bro. You’ll be extremely disappointed in flower and the harvest under inferior lighting. Research HLG, Kind, Spider Farmer or AC Infinity :love_you_gesture:

Youll be very disappointed if you spend 50 bucks on a light and the end result is not what you were hoping. If you can afford a small bi weekly payment, look at sites that offer shop pay or sezzle. Or if you have a ■■■■■■ account, ■■■■■■ has a pay in 4 option. You can find a decent light for around 150 bucks thatll grow 1 plant. Horticulture Lighting Group offers refurbs at a discounted price.

Quality lighting will cost the equivalent of a zip or 2 of weed. Consider it an investment.

Cannabis needs a LOT of light and red spectrum for flowering. A bulb will give extremely disappointing results. Look for lights built with Samsung LM301 diodes.

Here is the difference between a well lit plant and one that is not well lit. A well-lit plant can give you up to 3/4 of a pound per plant versus one that barely produces an ounce.

my God, are the plants on the second photo at their final stage? the difference is huge, indeed

They are not flowering yet, but the plant structure will remain the same when they do. Light makes a massive difference.

Youre lighting investment will pay for itself tenfold. I invested about $1500 in lights in this room and ive saved over 10 grand the last 3 years growing.

what about those lights guys?

  1. 4x LAMP PANEL FOR PLANT GROWTH FULL SPECTRUM TIMER USB 36W 80 LED

  2. Plant Growth Lamp Growing Panel 225 LED, 30x30sm

  3. LED LAMP FOR PLANT GROWTH GROW LIGHT 45W

They are very poor for cannabis.

The bottom line is that you have to pony up for good lighting if you want a plant to be productive. Good lighting is going to cost a little over a dollar per watt and a minimum of 200 watts is necessary to effectively flower a plant, so a good light for 1 plant is going to cost a bit over $200. There are a lot of scams out there. The light just posted is one of them unless you intend to grow basil. Look for light built with Samsung LM301 diodes to avoid the scams. HLG, Spider Farmer, and AC Infinity all have good options.

Or grow outdoors with free light until you can spend a little more money :green_heart::metal:t2:

what about this one? looks affordable

Much better. Two of them would be what I would consider a minimum for 1 productive plant.

i can afford only one per two trees :frowning:

One well lit plant will outproduce 2 poorly lit plants. I’d stick with one plant until you can get better lighting. You would be happiest with 2 of those per 1 plant.
