Buying a New light. Help pls

Hello I am new to growing and have wasted a sum of money on amazon lights already. so now im taking the suggestions ive gathered from people and have narrowed my choices down to 2. both companies have been recommended so i trust that they are both quality light but one uses a bridgelux led, which ive not heard of and the other uses the samsung diodes I have had suggested. 2022 Newest Spider Farmer SE3000 Bar LED Grow Lights 300W with 896Pcs Samsung LM301B Diodes 3x3ft Full Spectrum UV IR Dimmable Growing Lamp for Indoor Plants Amazon.com or 2022 Upgraded MARS HYDRO TS 3000 450W LED Grow Light with MeanWell Driver Commercial Grow Daisy Chain Dimmable Full Spectrum Indoor Hydroponic Plant Growing Lamp for 4x4 5x5ft Greenhouse & Tent https://a.co/d/fQMib0a . Im leaning toward the mars hydro because of more wattage but dont know if the diodes are as good. Are they pretty much comparable? Any suggestion would be appreciated.

I built my first set of lights using Bridgelux. Its a fine product. But Samsung is the king of LED for a reason.

Also, Amazon are the only authorized ‘sale’ links. Sorry about that. Editted ur post to links from there. If u want to fine tune it feel free

There is a company called Green-Beams that someone here has bought from.
Their product looks excellent and priced well.
Only two options to choose from but they look very nice.

Geez at that price you might as well get a hlg 260 xl kit and a uv bar to go in the middle. That way you only need a second one if you decide to upsize to a 4x4 later( code dude may still be active)

It is 891mm = 35"

True it is but at least the edges will have better coverage then most lights

I have the Mars Hydro TS 3000 in a 4X4 tent. It isn’t quite enough on the outer edges. Other than that I am happy with it.:v:

Between those two listed, id go with the spider farmer one. The ts series from MH is not near the same light from anything uses samsung lm301b/H. Its not that its bad light its just when you have one of each side by side you can see that the samsung diodes are much whiter light.

I use a MH fc3000 for my 3x3. Its a lil more then the ts3000 as far as cost but ive been happy with it. I use the ts1000 I have for seedling and early veg.

I bought a CERTA 300w full spectrum LED grow light from dicksmith.com.au for $109 NZD and a CERTA 600w 60 x 5w double chip for $122 and either can be used for the whole grow and I also got a 120 x 120 x 200 grow tent for $80 From Amazon I bought a Sunraise 1000w triple chip LED that has 96 5w chips that each has a Samsung diode with veg and bloom switches for about $120 with shipping. Sure you can get a brand-name LED like the ones you’ve listed that just cost you more money. but the fact is that you can get a good harvest with cheaper lights that are much brighter like the ones I’ve mentioned without breaking the bank.

This is what I ended up purchasing. 2022 Upgraded MARS HYDRO FC3000 300Watt LED Grow Lights for Indoor Plants Bar with 896Pcs Diodes Samsung LM301B & UV IR for 3x3ft, Full Spectrum Daisy Chain Dimmable Growing Lamp, Achieve 2.85 umol/J https://a.co/d/6hnaRl1
since it has the samsung diodes most people have recommended. I was very interested personally in the green beams but my wife was worried over their lack of reviews vs mars hydro. Hopefully i made a good purchase since my past purchases havent been so great lol thanks everyone for sharing your experience and knowledge. its greatly appreciated. trying to get this right this time

I love my fc3000 its the 2021 version though.

I have the HLG BlackBird crammed in my 3x3! It’s total overkill and I love it!
