You’ll need more than you have for 3 plants.

Should I get another 1000w or a 2000w just bought the 1kw cause I had only one plant at the time now I’ve gotten in over my head :joy:

How about starting a journal thread for your grow and questions rather than posting every question in unique threads each time? It’s easier for all of us that way.

Avoid lights that say they are 1,000 watts. There is no such thing unless you are spending over a grand on the light. Your “1,000 watt” light is actually only about 150 watts. These light makers use creative math to get to 1,000 watts.

If you have the budget for it, get lighting built with Samsung LM301 diodes. HLG, Spider Farmer, and AC Infinity are all good options. Quality lighting should cost a little over $1 per watt.

Exactly which 300W Vivosun light do you have? They make two presently – neither of which will fit in a 30"W x 18"L tent.

Hornosun apparently names its models by multiplying their wattage by 10. So, their “1000W” model draws 100W. That wattage is stated clearly in their listing on Amazon, but I feel their model naming convention is intentionally misleading.

The brands @MidwestGuy named are all reputable. I own three Vivosun AW200 lights (which use Samsung 301B LEDs) and can recommend that brand, too.

My wattmeter says my 1000 watt light that I got from Alibaba for $220 actually draws 1000+ watts.
