Continuing the discussion from First time grow log:
I’m planning on getting some actual grow lights by time I get out of seedling stage, and yea if you have any carbon filter recommendations I’m open because I do need one, and would a regular fan work in the grow room or will I need a osculating fan?
This is my fan at the moment but lmk if it’s a bad one and if I should get a new one, also any recommendations on any would be helpful
I have the oscillation feature of my fan turned off. Don’t aim the fan directly at your plants.
I use AC Infiniti carbon filters, exhaust fan and the small oscillating fans to blow air on the plants. Their newer carbon filter has a refillable option so you don’t need to buy a new filter when it is done. If smell is no worry, carbon filters are not needed. I don’t use my carbon filter till the plants get a loud smell, then add it to the exhaust fan. Good luck.
I second @patrick1960 on AC infinity refillable filters and fans. For circulation, I run a 48 inch internally oscillating tower fan, hung horizontal from my ceiling, as it oscillates, it sweeps from one end of room to the other. It doesn’t wind burn them, but mine look like hula dancers in there when it swings. Helps make stems strong too.
Colys are light colored when first popping out, give them 3 days to make chlorophyll and they will green right up.
Don’t let the rooters stay too wet, they will damp off on you.
