need help with picking out a carbon filter cheaply but good from maybe amazon? just switched my white widow auto from 18/6 to 12/12 with both veg and flower buttons on. need toget some help with the smell from 4 plants and I need a fan too right?
The size of your grow room/tent will dictate the size of fan and filter. How big is your room/tent?

You need to determine volume of your room and find exhaust fan that will satisfy air exchange needs. Then size your carbon filter according to that.
Spend the extra money and you won’t have to keep replacing fans the also have it in 4 in anything less you may need more then one
I have only grown Autos once , but from my limited experience with them keep the lights on 18/20 hours even in bloom as stretching can be an issue, whereby the plant grows so quick to reach the light the stems are weakened & the whole crop faces the ground!
See and I grow them from 12/12 and get way better results and bigger yield

No problem if its working for you then fine the set up parameters maybe perfect in your grow room or it could be any number of reasons why my autos stretched just thought I would share a previous experience & corrected it
thanks for the comment. I need to understand things more I guess. when I get the carbon filter do I need to make a hole in the closet and run a ductline to let the odor out?
You don’t have to It Will just recycle the air in the room
