First time grow first time caller,,

I ask because it is likely only sufficient to flower 1 plant. I’d like to understand what the true wattage is and what diodes where used to build it.

One well lit plant will outperform 2 poorly lit plants.

Well its swfull bright and warm on 100% both specturms same time. I also have another light aswell will send pic of it next it does have markings

I would get the Photone phone app and use it to measure the PPFD output of your lighting.

Here are PPFD minimums by growth stage. PPFD is a measure of light intensity.

Seedling: 300 PPFD
Veg: 600 PPFD
Flower: 800 PPFD

I have the app and it shows over 2000 ppfd w veg spectrum 100%

Over 3000 with both spectrum on 100%

Although it says something about a diffuser?

Something isn’t right. It would take a very expensive light to achieve those levels.

I see ( Bergmans) under your name i have the ff trio and bergmas seedling, booster, flowertime wich is better?

This a illinois basment groew

I would use Jacks 321.

Any suggestions or advise on how grow set up looks?

Also would any one know if this a good light? Or the smaller one?

I would get a light that is built with Samsung LM301 diodes. The light you have there is what we refer to as a “burple” light. They are far less effective than a quality light.

Light manufacture should have some specs for guidance.
Example

That would have information needed for light hanging height, spectrum, and wattage output.

Next Upgrade, upgrade to HLG LED Lighting, Satisfaction available.

Both lighs are under “par”?

I purchased the full spectrum led portion and their diffuser and this is what I read a 100 watt spider farm at 60% 24 inches. Think the app doesn’t work

I agree there is a problem. I run 400 watts of LM301 diodes above each plant and still only achieve 1,100 PPFD at the canopy. My measurements were taken with an Apogee PPFD meter, which is high quality and certainly accurate.

It makes me wonder if Photone has pushed out a software update that is giving faulty readings.

Have you ever compared it to the Photone app? Maybe help them gauge their parameters. I got lucky and @low ran his expensive par meter with the same light setup and now I can be in ballpark.

I have a post here in the forum that compares Photone with Apogee. There were substantial differences. Photone is historically relatively accurate and has been suitable enough for use.

Mine never worked properly, TBT, I never had a diffuser.
The UT383-BT measures LUX.
The HLG’s perform well. My Vipar Spectras can produce.
Full sunlight, outdoors, PNW with no clouds the UT383-BT may have maxed out at 150KLux, or that was the reading available.
The HLGs using wattage and MGF Umol rating for 500watt@2.7=1350PPDF
My UT -LUX meter will read 60-70KLux at proper distance.
My plants don’t do well with more wattage (that’s the most my setup can handle with temps and air.

Long story, does you App read daylight with reasonable results?
Mine maxed at 33Klux in full sun or tent, so I suspected a replacement would be better.
I will attempt to measure 600 watts (full-on for HLG350,260,and UVA30) tonight (tent sleeping currently). Distance and LUX.
*Closing tent door increases reading 2000Lux (more reflectivity).
