Waterering has been an issue fried 3 plants over watering already…any tips on how and when to water

A seedling should only get a couple ml of water per day. Let the soil dry out between waterings.

Seedlings require little water.
Watering far from stem.
Good growing to you.

I’ll add that if using a dome, then the soil should remain completely dry until the dome is removed. The plant can get all of the water it needs from the humidity in the dome.

Watering around the plant is certainly a god idea to encourage roots to seek out water; however, all a young seedling has is a sole tap root and seeking water in this way won’t be effective until more of a root system starts developing.

It came from trying to ph soil with water ( way to much water) they had about 5 nodes already …learning by making mistakes but would like to minimize them lol

Watering requirements are so low at this point that I wouldn’t worry about pH until the plant matures and requires watering in larger quantities.

If using a dome, you shouldn’t be watering at all.

Overwaterering is a very common cause of seedling loss.

Im also using ffof. I also lost 3 seedling before getting the last one to go. The advice i got was to water once, cover with a clear solo cup. The spray the inside of the cup with a mist every once in a while to keep it humid. If the soil starts drying out just water lightly around the cup. Worked like a champ for me.

Thank you kindly @Rockdog62

Also my light has 2 knobs (spectrums) 1st is a white and blue leds with few red ,other 1 is more red yellow, amber. Wich should i use and when to switch to other lighting or use both?

If you have such switches on your light, then you should be running it full on.

What is the make/model of your light? How many plants are you trying to grow?

@MidwestGuy

Who makes the light and what model is it?

Im not sure no markings on light must be on bottom of ballast

Any and all help is appreciated
