First ever grow on bagseeds

Hi guys,

I’m new to growing marijuana. I found some bagseeds and decided to give it a try outdoors. I live in a tropical country with the temperature in my city being around 30-32c usually.

I have 3 plants. The smaller 2 are around 2 weeks old and the bigger one is 30 days from seed. My questions are

  1. Can I know if the big one is a female?
  2. Are they indicas or sativa’s. The bigger one looks like a sativa. If so how do I control growth. It’s in a small bucket.
  3. Do the plants look healthy?
  4. Can I force flower the bigger plant?
  5. Whatever other advice you can give me.

I’m a complete noob at this. So please bear with me.

Thank you so much.

Peace.

If you want your larger plant to be short and bushy start tipping your plant this will create more crowns when going into flower. The only way to tell if male or female is to just wait and see if sacks start to appear then its a male if short white pistals appear its a female the larger plant looks sativa to me long slender leaves .Plants look healthy a nice lime green. The only way to force into flower is to place your plant into complete darkness for 12hrs so if you have a shed or cupboard were no light comes in go for it but make sure you do this the same time every day as you don’t want to stress your plants and also run the risk of going back into veg mode or worse turning hemmie on you.

Hi mantas,

Thank you for the advice. I was anyway thinking of tipping it and you confirmed it. So I just tipped the larger plant just now, Should I force flower it now? Only been 30 days since seed. How soon can I do it?

Thanks for taking the time. I appreciate it. Hope it’s a girl

Peace.

No let your plant develop more depending on how much growth you are getting each day I would say a least another month or longer for your larger plant, this will give it more time to bush for a larger harvest.

Thanks will do. Since I last commented my bunny has devoured the two small plants. My mistake, I guess it’s all a part of the learning process. Sucks cuz they seemed like indicas.

Anyway I can steer all my attention to this now. Will have an update in a month.

Cheers mantas!

Peace.
