Fire Safety - Going away for 3 days

Hi guys, i’m pretty new here, set my tent up today and started germinating 2 X six shooter auto seeds.

My girlfriend has a fear of fires and has got scared by reading articles about indoor grows causing fires. Her main concern is we are planning a trip to Dublin which means we will be gone for 72 hours (wouldn’t leave my babies any longer). I tried not to cheap out on my equipment and only bought stuff that says it has anti-overheat features (especially the heater)

What are the chances of me coming back to my whole apartment building going up in flames? I told her if we can run it solid for 20 days before hand without a fault then she has no need to worry but she’s not particularly convinced. Has anyone ever had a problem and if so what caused it? Does this tend to happen much or is it just on all the fire service sites?

FTR i’m using 300w LED mars hydro, so my lightings not dangerous.

Thanks for any advice in advance

You should be fine I run way more in my tent. I ran my 24hrs for 6.5 weeks no problem

I’d be willing to bet the most common cause of grow room fires is from overloading circuits. Like having a power strip plugged into power strip on 50 feet of undersized extension cord.

Otherwise as long as you’re running a relatively safe heater I wouldn’t worry.

No need to worry. I had 50 gallons of salt water catch a power strip on fire one time. Luckily I was home to cut the breaker and put it out. Ah the old aquarium days.

I would never even have thought these existed, what a genius idea. Let’s see her keep piping on now
