Going to give this a trail run with some purple cauliflower, cheap, low on cost and maintenance.
I am thinking the fabric pot and coco should provide wicking.

Is that Heavy duty 1020 trays or just the regular thin ones?

Just the regular cheap thin ones, should seal, and I am going to feeding it from a big tote, so very little water pressure.

I like it! Had basically this same idea in mind just never seen it done. Thanks for sharing! Those floats are cheap and can be found in packs which is awesome.
