Is it ok to put taprooted seeds directly into ffhf soil mixed in a lil coco coir with soil 4 gal fabric pots ? I’m new to growing very little experience
It is, but suggest that you not mix coco with soil. Coco grows and soil grows are managed very differently.
So I would refill pot with just ffhf alone plant taproot?
Maybe not asking right questions when trying to look up been doing a lot of reading but some things are still sort of greyish for me I started dwc few months ago went good got rootrot feel i could of waited clean roots up figured were done for since autos wonder if would of waited few weeks may of been ok whole top side plant were looking good just stopped flowering fattening up. Sorry babble think I’d like try both grow methods keep me busy
Not trying sound weird I see a lot of your feed back to questions on top of it thank you all for info
Happy Frog with maybe around 20% extra perlite is really good.
The seedling will be fine in that mix.
Midwestguy is a great help to new growers. We often post the same stuff within seconds of each other. Hes very good.
Thanks I’ll be back for more info if ok to bother this is all so beautiful love it exciting
Yeah I see quite few individuals here help slot thank you as well
Here’s what I do, and it’s simple. Get some fox farm happy frog soil, and solo cups. moisten the soil, and fill the solo cup. Plant the seed directly into the soil (not very deep), spray a little water on it to settle the seed, and stick a baggie over the top to make a little greenhouse. Keep it warm, and it should break ground in about 3 or 4 days. Stick it under your light on low power, and don’t water until dry.
When seedling is as wide as the cup, transplant into pot of happy frog mixed with perlite, worm castings, and fox farm fruit and flower 4-9-3 per the instructions on the package. Then top dress with the fruit and flower after 6 weeks, then once a month after that. That’s it other than ph’ing your water. I also use a little bio thrive bloom during flowering. It’s organic as well.
Awesome will do will get back with results any issue arises
Well seedling perished transplanting to soil ffhf mixed with perilite worm castings little myco. These ladies survived
Do they seem to have nitrogen toxicity tips starting turn slightly darker. Had lime green color purple red stems added cal mag. Using r/o AN nutrients little hygrozym.
17gal tote 8gal 3/4 strength nutrients 2 air stones each
Transplanted almost 2 weeks
No chiller sitting basement floor solution stays around 67 71 depending how warm room gets usually stays between 68 73. Second true self grow very little experience so much to learn TRY understand
I personally put seedling directly into foxfarm ocean forest which I understand to be a little hotter than happy frog. Im only on my 4th plant so no vast amount of experience but Ive never had a problem as far as the seedling getting nutrient burnt. Other than the time I tried to feed nitrogen way before it was recommended.
damn! thats a next level setup there. Very nice! As a noob I dont even know what im looking at but it sure looks impressive
What do think about these? Any concerns don’t want loose more haven’t been able get past flower something going wrong
Appreciate it, I’m absolute novice my self have somewhat understanding been having better luck keeping alive this way than soil?
Must be bed time
Should I be moistening topside clean r/o water rinsing roots from salt build up down low; Just change rez when time leave alone? No foliar maintenance, yet, being new grower just leave alone ? LSD autos
