Okay yall here we are at day 0 of grow #20 as I put 4 seeds in the dirt today, I put miracle grow potting mix straight from the baggies DRY I don’t pre moisten whole pot!!! With each seed 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch deep and lightly covered with soil, then I pour very carefully 1- 16oz cup of water very slowly in circles around the seed until empty, so I pre moisten a area 4 inches in diameter and and approximately 4 to 6 inches deep, the area the tap root will in counter will be moist for the first week, because I used this much water I will only add a little to keep the top moist over the next couple days to keep seed moist.
As you can see each pot is prepared for each seedling with a nice moist area for the new roots to explore into both outwards and below, but dry medium around and beneath so no changes of any Over Watering and I am only activating the time released nutes miracle grow has in the area that is wet, So no hot medium for the seedlings
I will elaborate more on watering schedule and care later, but this is where I am today.
Here is my lineup and I need to say 4 seeds but I will only keep the best 3 after the first week or so, the other will go to a grow bro All these are brand new strains I recently bought, I have done pineapple express auto before from seeds I bought in 2018, so 6 years from the same source I will see if their genetics are stable and whether I get a similar result, the first batch were 90% stable. So maybe we will see.
Here’s the lineup #1 Apple fritter fem from ilgm a 50/50 ind/sat with a possible 32% thc #2 Master kush fem from ilgm a 90% indica with a possible thc of 24% #3 Bay burger fem early version from Delicious seeds a 80% indica with a possible thc of 26% #4 Pineapple express auto from Amsterdam seeds a 65% Sativa with a possible thc of 19-22%
I grow in a 2x6x6 closet with hlg 100s for lighting and fans that is it!!! Pretty simple

My old folks housing and new nursery this week, LA Ultra is only days from being harvested, and I hung a hlg 100 4000k spectrum, with my NEW dimmer hlg sent me the other day for vegging the little ones @ 17 inches. I may move things around but my little ones are set for a couple weeks lol cuz things go flipping fast once these little critters pop up!!! Will be no time I’ll be hanging a second light.
This is my closet I have grown in it since 2017 7 years at 3 grows a year, and like 4 years here recording what I do I use the same name just changing the # since grow 8 so easy to look back for others. I have been using the same miracle grow potting mix and organic nutes that I do since grow #2 so I have had time to work out the kinks. I grow 3 plants at a time now, averaging a little over 4oz per plant so 3/4 lb every 15 to 17 weeks, I grow predominantly high % indica dominant strains which usually produces a smaller round bush because I only have 6 foot to work with, I grew several pineapple express autos and tho 65% sativa almost all presented themselves more indica with nice dense bud so I keep that one in the mix as said simple grow I veg 4 to 5 weeks, flipping when the tallest plant is 18 inches tall, in hope they don’t over double in size during the stretch easy as that also indica dominant strains mature in less time. Bringing me to one of my possibilities is Bay burger e/v by Delicious seeds, a early version is a plant mixed with the Ruderalis genes (same as with the autoflowering plant) But they isolated the flowering period not its timing of flower. So plants mature faster during flower to 6.5 weeks or so, this genetic change also causes a plant to flower quicker in outdoors grows, doesn’t really effect indoor grow because we go to 12/12, in my daughter’s outdoor grows e/v s were the first to show pistols and first to harvest. I open my closet door when I wake up till lights out every day, but that is it as far as ventilation goes ( during flower that is almost all the hours the lights are on) I live in the high desert so cold winter hot summer and low relative humidity all year anyway you guys enough of this for today sorry for trying to get everything in but there is so much to say lol hope everyone has a great week, till next time happy growing yall

You say high desert low humidity, i know were about the same climate. My humidity is 22% today. We had monsoon yesterday. What im getting at is, you dont run any humidifiers? Your plants dont seem to mind thats fore sure. Im wondering if i can do the same. I run mine in a tent though. I also have my outdoors/ greenhouse. But winter is indoor tent. I went all out this year with 12 plants. Only 7 are good size though. The others are 3 autos, only 2 by choice 1 was suppose to be a photo plant. I was bummed about that. But humboldt seeds took care of it so… Alright, im gabbing now, forgot what i was even talking bout. Nice.
Oh ya, the other 2 smalls were just started late, just as a sample size. I only have room for 6 big plants in my gh. So the others gotta hide a bit.
Hey brother no I don’t run humidifier or dehumidifier and I see no ill effects, I talked to a person who says my temperatures caused my foxtailing problem this last grow, and my daughters outside grows heat 100+ and yes 25% or less caused problems for sure, but the survive fairly well here, indica are more heat tolerant. I never baby them from the start, day 1 I put a fan on them and make them wiggle watering properly it the key here, and remember I do more of a hydro grow not soil, my girls always have damp medium so they have all the moisture they need. temperatures what they are now my house 70s at night 85* days, 72* all winter n & d my closet depends on how many lights are hanging. Thanks man, all good info. My grow room stays about the same temps you got 72 night 85 to 90 day in the summer. I didnt think i could grow indoors at my place during the summer months. I figured it would be way too hot in there. But its not really. I mean we keep the house temp at 80 or below during summer. My man cave/grow room, just a spare bedroom, is drafty. So it stays hotter in there, but i run 2 humidifiers when im growing to keep humidity at 60 to 70%. 1 runs on the light schedule, light on humidifier on the other runs on an ink bird controller with humidity sensor. Works well, but its it a pain to fill all the time. You get use to it though.
