Curing/drying question

i harvested sat and sun (24 and 25) and have it spread out to dry in a dark room with ceiling fan for circulation - usually does well in 7 days - some small twigs are already snapping. so i would likely be jarring this weekend and burping for a week - and only a week - because i have to go out of town Oct 8-15. so what should i do? i dont want to leave it in jars for a week unattended for fear of mold, should i leave it in open jars? or dump it all out back onto drying trays or will it overdry?

Grove Bags are your answer to that problem. They cure your buds just like mason jars, but don’t require burping.
I tried them a while back and they worked fine. I ended up going back to using jars, but just because I’m a creature of habit, not because there was anything I didn’t like about them.
There’s a long thread here in the forum with ecery detail you could ever want to read.

dont have time to read the entire 2400+ posts with a read time of 741+ minutes - but about how long should they be in the bags to cure? and once cured - can they be stored in them indefinitely?

Curing time is a preference thing. Some people are happy with it after 2 weeks, others let it go a month, but ultimately it will keep get getting better over time. You can store it in the grove bags as long as you want, no worries.

I throw my trimming dry buds into them and 4 month later they still fresh

I smoke after 1 month in the bags and consider it cured in 2 months in the bags. Ive had sine in bags for 10 months and still fresh.
