I have a question about Grove Bags

If I use these bags, once the bud is dry, do I just leave it in the bags and forget about it until it’s cured? And, can I still leave it in there for storage?

Yup and you can reuse them as well if in a bind. They do recommend you heat seal it for curing. I don’t because I get impatient and sample the goods early lol.

Do they have a valve or something? How does the gas escape? I’m missing something.

They’re desinged to not need burping. I don’t have a clue how they manage that, they might have something on their website. I use them almost all the time, unless I have a big harvest. If I’m not using grove bags, I go with jars. Lots of people on here made the switch to grove bags and haven’t heard anything negative. I have 5 grows using them, zero issues.

Sounds good, I’m going with them. They sound like way less of a pain in the a$$ than burping once a day🤘

You’ll like them. Low maintainence but kinda pricey lol. Good luck my dude.

I hear that! No different than a chef trying his food.

Hey @SlayinAsquirter If you haven’t seen this post by @Lostgirl , check it out. They sound just as good for 1/2 the price. Her post is Sweet Decades vs Grove Bags (curing bags)] I would go with these if I were to buy some. But I’m cheap, my glass jars work for me.

Trying both.
No complaints for either, from me.

So far the consensus are there the same results as Grove bags.

I did reach out to them by email and phone and they never responded back. They lose major points for that from me.

I already got 20 1/2 Oz bags. I’m going with them. I’m going to do a burp jar and compare.

I have found in the past that while using Grove Bags one it is still very important to check on the product. I personally would every other day while trying to reach the cure you want. .

The bags are created with what they say is ‘terp-loc technology”. This wors kinda lie the Dehue packs we use (the 62%). Allowing the exchange of oxygen within the bag. Kinda weird.

They also say they are up blocking bags. Idk about this one. I would still suggest putting the closed Grove Bag once filled into a plastic tote.
Just me thoughts

Happy farming everyone…

Mostly it’s my wife getting antsy, but exactly….we always want to test the new stuff.

Nice!!! Be sure to tag me when you post any results. I’m intrigued by other’s results.

Without a doubt you cannot say that the Grove bags do not have the proven testing from many communities that they actually do work. I believe the turp-lock technology is a bunch of horseshit. I personally believe they found the bag that works that anybody has access to from a manufacturer that utilizes that particular plastic. That’s not to discourage anything I just think they’re full of shit they got lucky to be the first to try the bag.

I also believe that sweet dreams bags are simply just the same type of bag. There’s no doubt I can go to China send a sample of a Grove bag them tell me it’s simply a “xxx bag” and it would do the same thing.

Again there’s way too much evidence that it works. I just don’t buy into their bullshit that they developed it.

Been using them for a several grows now, they work fantastic. Read their web site regarding how they work or search this site and there is a multi thousand post thread about them. They are real. I dry and simple put the nugs in the bags. One month later i can smoke it after 2 months i consider it cured. I have stored for 10 months so far before smokeing it all up. But i just fill bags toss in a box for a month or two and done.

This is what I’m going with also. I bought those little humidity thermostats a set of 16 of them. I was almost going to get those 62% humidity packs but read the bags dont need them. Either way I’ll be monitoring the atmosphere inside the bags with the small thermostats to be on the safe side.

Just remember the accuracy of those devices (×/- 5% on average) close is good enough with those.

The “terploc” technology is what they have, its patented so doubt any one else has the same thing. There are allways “knock offs” so be aware.

I noticed this. Every one had a different reading but were in the same ballpark.
