Hello everyone. Has anyone ever tried using the Grove bags to cure instead of mason jars? I just stumbled across them on YouTube. I was wondering if anyone’s ever tried them? They say that you dont have to burp them? Any input would be greatly appreciated.
They are great! They are all that I use now. If you go to their website, and click on custom orders you can obtain a small number. I am sure you will get plenty positive replies to your question.
Only thing ive found better than grove bags is Bacon!
Search the site several threads about them.
Once you go to grove bags you wont ever go back! I got tired of burping jars everyday and wanted an alternative method. Stumbled across these bags and the bud is perfect. I keep mine in a dark place thats around 65 degrees.
Yuppers. Groves are groovy. Cheesey, huh?
@Audiofreak you said it! I make candied bacon, and I got 11 qrtr lb grove bags just waiting…
I’m smoking the second string first(mason jars 64oz) then the summer will be amazing to open and use the Grove bags.
So to answer the question- Yes. I found out about them here on the ILGM board.
Thanks everyone
SL out
I also use them and eventually stopped trying to figure out the chemistry/physics and just “go with it”…they WON’T re-moisten dry herb… but if the current stash is between 40-60…you can “set-it and forget-it”…
Yup, alot of us here use the Groves. I am old school and was used to using masons and burping but I grabbed a few and then some more as they are awesome. I just took a large cola out of a bag that has been curing for 4 months at 61% and OMG that stuff smells and tastes so dang good. Definitely a bag it and forget type of deal as long as mentioned above they go in at the right internal moisture reading.
Burp my jars with Bovidas, getting them into the zone.
Then set it and forget it. Sometimes, add fresh buds for flavor saving.
Groves for the win
