It’s a screen for growing sprouts in a jar. Replaces the existing seal and ring.

I only put about 1/2 ounce in each quart mason jar. The Source crucible hold 300 ml comfortably (don’t over-fill) so I usually add around 350ml of alcohol to the jar. You only need barely enough to cover the plant material. If you do a second (or third) wash, it takes less alcohol but refrain from adding more because it just won’t fit in the crucible. Tip: Don’t add more alcohol to the crucible during the process. Let it finish what you originally put in there (unless it’s a very, small amount).
Sometimes I find that the Source will ‘time-out’ I believe it’s 2.5 hours. But the machine, itself, doesn’t’ turn off… it’s just starts to feel really cold to the touch. If it feels cold to you, unplug and re-start it to complete the job. Not sure why sometimes it needs more time and other times it doesn’t (but mainly it does).

So for the time buds, I do a super quick wash for round 1 - that’s for dabs. I do 2 more runs for edibles so 3 runs total on same buds
