First time cocco coir grower here. Just made a fatal mistake i believe. Im using floraflex loosefill 60% whc cocco. I didnt buffer the cocco and directly dropped seeds in it. Is there any chance of survival. I have canna a and b cocco nutrients if i do a small ec feeding with added cal-mag can they survive my mistake? Thanks

Nutrients not needed for the seedling to break the surface Growmie but nutrients will be needed within a few days. Have you germinated and grown cannabis before or 1st timer. The seedling stage is the most difficult part of the grow for new cultivators. Thanks for the tag Brother @ChittyChittyBangin

Your seeds will pop just fine in coco. Keep the area moist around the seed. I highly recommend you use a spray bottle to do that. If you pour water on the seed area you’ll lose the seed… Yes, I’ve done it!
Give PH water with about 2ml calmag per Gallon in the spray bottle. About a week after they surface you can start the A&B at about a 25% dose working your way up to full strength over 2 weeks.
After they get their first real leaves you’ll start watering directly to the coco. Start with a gallon if you’re in a 5 gallon fabric pot. You will get runoff so check your EC and PH. In coco you should shoot for a PH of 6.0 going in and coming out.
I have used Canna brand nutrients and coco for about 4 years and love it.
My current grow is a cross between full hydro and coco. It’s called the Dutch Bucket Method.

First time growing in cocco coir. Never thought about buffering it prior to planting, im use to soil grows prior to this grow. One of my seedlings looks like its not going to make it only been up for 2 days. Im assuming because i didnt buffer or give it some form of cal-mag or nutrients when it broke the surface. I was thinking it had enough energy stored in first set of leaves to feed it for several days.

Yes, that will work just fine. Just saturate the area around the seed as needed.
