HLGs are some of the most commonly recommended lights although there are others which are highly recommended. Keep in mind that lights are the most expensive investment, and it is one of if not the most important piece of equipment.
I definitely could not spend this type of money on the top recommended HLG lights, and my grow is still in its early stages. If this is something I will continue, I will seriously consider making the investments.
You could do a search for lighting info from dbrn32. So many people suggest them for lighting info.
Looks like @EclecticJack has lots of knowledge and can help with this a lot more than I can! 
I got a really good deal on a Spider Farm (~200w), so that is what I am using now. Growing only one plant in a small closet that is not even 2x2. So I think this works for me. Everyone’s needs will vary.
For your size, you can probably do a 2 panel QB.
I have a 4 panel that was built for about the cost of that 2 panel.
And @PP3121 is right. Look up dbrn32 because that’s who guided me though my build.

Thank you for your input and advice. I will see out dbrb32. Last question, do you think my grow will get anything with what I currently have or should I scrap the whole thing until I get my lighting together…?
Personally, I would continue. Maybe I would scrap the sick one. I would continue and learn as much as I could from this grow in order to have more success on the next one. You will not end up with the biggest yields, but something harvested is cause for success.
Whatever you do, don’t get discouraged. Most of us have done the same. For me, I’m still on my first grow, but third light! 
Finish it and get the XP.
LOL I appreciate that. I’m not discouraged. Slightly stressed but up for the challenge. I just want to make sure I can get something and am not wasting my time. I’m glad for the experience. Don’t feel bad. I’m on my second light with my first grow and it looks like I need a third 
I’m 4-5 weeks into my first grow, and I’m using a 600w HPS light (currently set to 400w) but I’m strongly considering making the investment in an LED light by the time I go into flower.
I’m between the HLG light posted above or the spider farmer sf4000 for my 48x48x80
Any insight on which is the better of the 2 or main differences
