Hi. I am a first time grower. I have 3 auto plants. One is sick and I’m working on improving its health but the other two are not flowering. I feel they should be and idk what I’ve done wrong. Any constructive help would be much appreciated. Thank you!
I’m seeing a lot of pistils meaning they are starting to flower. All those white hairs, also what’s your light schedule? Sometimes even with autos they need a little push, but from what I can see she trying

Pics in natural/neutral light is better for diagnosing potential issues.
Best of luck.
Plants look good in early stages of flowering . You might have your light a little too high. Spacing between the nodes shows plant is stretching a little.
Good luck
I appreciate that. I’ve seen the pistils. They’re on an 18/6 light schedule right now
My blueberry had a brown, crunchy leaf. I thought it may be potassium deficiency but as a precaution I raised the light a little higher and dimmed slightly in case it was light burn. Do you think I should lower it?
Looking at the pictures I do not see light burn. what brand light and what’s the wattage ? Personally I would go with 12/12 light schedule to finish them up. Save you a little on the power bill an get the same results.
Not enough light. You need need way more light. Nutrient levels won’t matter because photosynthesis is not taking place at optimum levels.
Thank you for your help!
- Auto amnesia haze and auto blueberry
- Fox farms ocean forest
- 5 gallon cloth pots
- General hydroponics 3 pack and now that they should be flowering I’ve add humboldt flower stacker
- Indoor
- Light system
- Approx 67
- Approx 42
- Yes,
- Humidifier
- Co2; No
Ok. I’ve increased the light. Since you say that potassium deficiency isn’t an issue in my plants at this time then do you have an idea of why I had a brown, crunchy leaf? It wouldn’t have been nutrient burn either then. Thanks.
Not seeing this in the photos above.
Could you elaborate on your “lighting system?” What is the watt at the wall?
That’s the tricky part of plant parenting. One thing does not necessarily mean another. The lights are causing stretch. That’s one thing.
You say your temp is “approx 67”…that’s too low. That’s a different thing. Low temps can prevent nutrients from moving properly and can look like deficiencies. A bigger light can raise the temp perfectly. My point is that one thing you need either way, could solve all your worries.
How are the temps with the new light?
Beyond that, things to consider:
What are your PPMs in and out? (Fox Farm has nutes already built in)
What is your pH going in?
Is the leaf going brown from the tip back? Is it turning yellow first?
It could still be nutrient burn. Post a pic of the leaf.
I know it seems like “20 questions” but don’t be overwhelmed. Every grow, you’ll add a new skill.
Growing weed is like making love. You gotta have the right temps, lighting, dinner, humidity, music or that girl will just not produce. I know that sounds gross, but it’s also true.
Everything I’ve read says 23-28 degrees Celsius. What temperature do you recommend?
The leaf is in the bottom picture. It’s on the left side around the middle to bottom. I don’t believe there was any yellowing and it did seem to go from the tip in.
Thank you for your help.
This light gives you an actual power draw of about 230w.
While I am far from any type of expert on light, I think three plants are too many for this light. For thicker, larger buds, you will need to add some more light. Did not notice the grow space dimensions above.
As @EclecticJack stated, you need more light.
Ok. Then I will work on getting more lights. I appreciate the help. If you think of anything else I need, please lmk.
For clarification, my tent is 32x32x64 inches.
Just trying to pay it forward, my friend. Learned so much frm incredible growers/people here.
Also, the light’s footprint is smaller for flowering - only about 2.5’ x 2.5’, according to manufacturer’s info.
Keep posted.
Best of luck.
You switched to C, let’s go back to F.
~72- ~85 is a good temperature range.
As for lights, forget those blurple lights. I’ve been there. I started with a Viparspectra 700w Dimmable and now I only use it for seedling/early veg because despite it’s claim, that’s all it can do.
Ignoring price for just a second, lookup Quantum Board lights either here or on Amazon. They are quite expensive, but if you build one you can save a lot. I built mine with help from right here on ILGM…and let me tell you, your mind will be blown by the difference in your grow. From fluffy bud, to nugs. Night and day. Those lights produce enough heat where everything is literally perfect. Cost of electric is the cherry on top. These lights have paid for themselves several times over.
Don’t make any impulse buys. Get a few hours of comparison videos and reading in.
Do you think one more would be sufficient light or should I get something that has more?
