It’s been 3 weeks since these girls sprouted. One started flowering and one hasn’t. I did loose power for a while so I’m assuming the lack of light stressed the one out. But with LST I tied the main cola down a few days ago and it keeps trying to pop back up. Should I keep tying it back down or let it be now? I know autoflowers are fragile and don’t want to stress her out.
Yes to the one in veg if its growing upwards strong despite your ties yeah just dont break it youll know by the feel; rubbery? The other I dunno its not gonna be big now so I think doesnt matter either way long as you dont break it
Was thinking of pulling the flowering one so I can start new. And I’ll try to keep tying down the other one she is very stubborn lol.
I read it takes a lot of energy and resources for chute growth so my thinking is it must be OK with it if it didnt slow down.
Different view, with lots full jars I would grow it for fun. To eaxh their own there with the flower
So I messed up and did tear a bit of the main cola. It’s still on there, just hope it didn’t stress her out too much. I haven’t added any nutrients at all (Day 26). I’m using coco loco and haven’t watered in a week, but the soil is still moist. Don’t see any nutrient deficiency, but I’ll test the run off next time the soil is dry and water. Here’s some update pictures and other plants I got going on.
Day 30 from when I first saw this girl sprout. She’s only 1ft tall. The only thing I’ve done is tie down the main cola around the 3rd week. Is it normal for her to be this short at this stage?
This is my first grow in over a decade but here are my three autos im running. DoSiDos and SLH.
Im on day 39 and i’d say our plants look about the same. I wouldnt sweat it.
I also used coco loco my first time in fabrics, I treated it more like coco than soil as far as runoff. I have coco loco in autopots right now and it’s a struggle. I’m more and more aggressive with lst the more I grow and remember to lst before she gets bigger and the branches get too stiff. Also you won’t water as much now until they stretch after flower. Then they want a lot more. I believe @OGIncognito also uses coco loco and has saved me a ton of frustration.
I myself normally stop LST when it been doing flowering things. may wait till it done stretching and considered supercrop if it too close to the light, or to make even canopy
