LST attempt right?

So basically, I did some research, and decided I’d lst my autos. I did this by tying down the main cola to the side of the pot to allow the rest of the canopy to even out. The colas have just bent upwards (as I assumed they would), but no new branches are coming off for me to tie down.
Because of this, the one plant you can see first has had the wire removed, and re tied down to the side of the pot, making it droop over the side. Is this okay? Or what should I do?
Cheers for the help guys!

PS. Ignore the misses’ blueberry bush growing, and avocado seed xD

It only seems to be letting me upload one photo

The lst you did is good. Now you just have to wait for the plant to respond and let all the colas come up. If you want more colas, then you can top the plant here in a couple weeks.

Thanks @imSICKkid! and @emgoldslo should I take the liking of the posts to mean that you can second that I’ve done it right? XD

@jadders

yup, looks good. As @imSICKkid said give it time to recover and the Colas will all reach for the light. After that you can top or fim if you want or just keeping going with the LST.

I typically top and LST my plants.

You even top autos? I thought that it was frowned on in the community? These plants were started 19/dec/2020, so I’m hoping that they start growing a bit quicker soon, or it looks like they could well be another 8 weeks.
Cheers for the advice

I’ve now done the second lot of lst on every plant that you can see

Yup, I top my auto’s

I do a lot that is frowned upon. Better to ask for forgiveness than permission.

Besides, growing should be fun and full of experimenting. Nothing you do can’t be used as a learning/teaching moment.

This was a couple weeks ago, but was topped and lst

Here it is now. Just took this pic

Probably a couple weeks to go

Looks good, only thing I’d suggest is making a support for the main stem before you bend her over next time. I’ve heard of people LSTing and the root ball coming right out!

Hey guys, so I was waiting for the main colas to come back up a bit, but 3 of them have barely done so, and one has jumped up, but I don’t know how I’m supposed to tie it down again?

I also think my issue is that I didn’t bend the main colas back on themselves to the soil, and instead, just tied straight to the side of the pot, meaning the other colas couldn’t catch up very well

I FIM my autos & love it!

FIM? What’s that? I have a scrog net, but because they are different sizes, I don’t think that’ll solve my issue, will it?

‘F I missed’ a training technique that is less stressful then topping, meaning your plant recovers faster, look up some guides on how to do it for your next run (it may be too late now)

With the LST you’re doing, you’re doing it so that all of the other shoots start rising above your main Branch; as they think your main branch is no longer ‘the main cola’ & then turn into an even layer of cola’s, so especially you want all of the other branches that are to shoot up, don’t worry too much about your main cola recovering.
Once you hit flower it’s probably best to stop LST after ten days & let the plants focus on budding.

You can use blocks, buckets, phone books, etc placed under the pots of the shorter plants to get the canopy distance from the light evened out.

The other 2 smaller ones are starting to reach up now, it’s just the little runty one that seems to have an issue. Thinking of trying out the scrog net on the 3 that seem to be growing. Any thoughts?

Go for it. Only way to really learn is by trying it and seeing what worked and what didn’t work.

Not sure how old they should be for scrogging; I haven’t read much about that aspect of growing.

Keep posted.

Continued success.
