I am starting my first indoor grow with Autoflowers. Just curious if anyone has any advice or suggestions on best way to have a successful grow using these types of seeds. Any and all input is very appreciated ![]()
Lighting is your key to success.
Environment
Then nutrients.
Welcome to ILGM.
Excellent I appreciate it. I have 4000w led on the way, and I have been using a couple other lights for the ones I have now. I thought I got autos the first time until I read further and seen they were photos. If I were only planning on growing 4 seeds at a time do you think this amount of wattagewould be sufficient? 20200515_140900|666x500These are about 2.5 weeks old and are photos not the autos. I just got the auto’s in the mail today.
Welcome to the forum. What’s the lights actual watt draw power? Should be on or the lights specs or post name and model #.
keep a daily log.
If it was really 4000 watts, it’s burn all your plants to a crisp as soon as you turned it on.
It says 4000w on the package but its a cheap Chinese knockoff so real wattage is prob 100. Lol
No doubt, funny Chinese marketing.
100 watts of draw power in the 1500w brand, so you got upper 200w of power…that’s no bueno. You could maybe grow one plant? Am no expert on lights, I’ll leave it to the experts.
We call those burple lights on this forum. I made the mistake and bought one to, I use for germinating and the first weeks above soil, that’s it. It has a purpose, or return it.
Well crap… I guess if it works well with germination I could just use it for the first couple weeks each grow. If anyone has any recommendations on good “fairly” inexpensive lights I’m open for suggestions. Lol
Horticulture Lighting group will be your next most affordable option.
Budget LED is a website that sells them 3rd party. You’ll have to search around, because directly from them they’re sometimes sold out. Version 1 or 2 is perfectly fine.
You’ll want to look now, so you won’t have a lack of light in flowering.
Hell yeah. Thank you so much. Very much appreciated ![]()
I will. I wanted to with the photos but I didn’t even know this website existed. Very excited for the grow and hopefully tasty products ![]()
I have a 10" 110 actual wattage Chinese light people referred to as “burple”, a 9watt LED bulb, a 28watt LED bulb, and two 2’ interlock 18watt lights. Do you think that would be sufficient for a grow of 3 or 4 plants?
