I have a few years newbie experience. Most of what I had grown previously were photoperiod and mostly outdoor grow. This is my first Solo Autoflower journey. Purchased 20 White Widow Autoflower seeds. Placed them in a folded, moist paper towel in a Ziploc bag. Placed them in a reasonably warm, darker area. After 24 hours a few started to sprout. After 48 hours, 16 of the 20 germinated. I planted all 20 in 4" peat pots. Within 48 hours, 16 of the germinated seeds, sprouted. I set them up in my bedroom, under 2 Full Spectrum LED smart floodlights. I turn the lights on when I wake around 8 and turn them off about 10-midnight. The 16 seedlings grew tall very quickly. I planted the peat pots in larger pots so that I could surround the stem with dirt, hoping to create a strong root system and strong stalk to support weight. I picked an Autoflower this time due to space. Having to grow indoors, this time, without a tent and other equipment. I am currently just using water from the tap. Ordering ppm and tds meters today. I do fill gallon jugs and leave them sit 24 hours before using. I also need to purchase thermometer/hygrometer, I believe it may be a bit too cold and definitely not humid enough, at this point.

Welcome!
Welcome to the forum @BlazdPeacock420 .
Surprised no one has mentioned yet that those lights are woefully under-powered for cannabis. ![]()
That is a sign of not enough light. They are “stretching” to find more light.
Recommend good quality LEDs and you will need around 150watts per plant to get good quality buds. ![]()
16 or 20 plants at one time indoors is quite a big bite to take.
I have a 4x8 tent and would never try more than 8 in that space if I had enough lights which I don’t.
I have 2x 150 watt lights and only grow 2 or 3 at a time.
Thank you! I do appreciate the information. I will definitely make some changes to improve their situation. It was not my intentions to grow so many at one time, soldiering was my plan. However, it didn’t turn out that way.
If there is a place for some outdoors, autos will do fine (often actually better) in the wild as long as they get attended to. ![]()

For off gassing to occur the container must be open to the air and depending on the level of chlorine can take up to to 5 days. To do it in just a day you may wish to add bubbles from a fish tank pump. One large enough for a 10 gal fishtank will do it in 12 hours. The bubbles break the surface tension of the water allowing the gas to escape.
