For autos I try not to push over 78.
I think I might have to get like a portable ac unit because I hooked a flex hose up to a vent in the room my tent is in but I thought it would cool it down a lot more than what it does Iāve got my driver outside of the tent to try to keep heat down as well @Autos-only
What is the difference between inside the tent and outside the tent temperature?
Iām not saying autos canāt handle higher temps, thatās just what I choose to run.
My thought process is ruderalis genetics come from very cold parts of the world like Russia, areas that donāt see much higher than 70 degrees in summer, I try to keep it as similar to its original as I can.
I keep my thermostat on 68 so my back room should be close to 70 I would think but the tent with light off will get down in the 60s but with light and dehumidifier Iāve seen it 81 I was just curious why the fan leaves were still dying out
81 is okay and not your problem. Dead and dying leaves will not heal and will continue to die off. Just gotta run with it unfortunately.
I think my light is at a good height above my plants and Iām not sure if my light is still up too high I have it at 50 percent itās a strong light itās a marshydro 6500 fc led light im not sure if the leaves are like this because of nutrient burn which I have backed off I was giving nutrients way too much I have been putting a tablespoon of cal-mag in water and making sure ph is under 7 I donāt know if Iām worrying for nothing but just trying to figure it out for next batch
Youāre right that is a very strong light, I wouldnāt turn it up anymore yet.
It does look like nutrient burn. Have you monitored runoff ppm?
Yes I checked my run off yesterday and it was 6.8 i normally water every other day but I was thinking about going 3 days this time how often should I use the cal-mag because some people tell me every time I water put a teaspoon in a gallon. Should I recalibrate ph meter every now and then or do they stay accurate I have an apera ph meter
What about runoff ppm? I donāt own that brand of pen, I use blue labs. Maybe someone else can chime in. I assume if itās stored properly and cared for it will hold well.
Salt buildup can cause burning edged, worse when the soil dries.
Iām gonna have to get one to check ppm well I guess Iāll stay on same watering schedule
I thought your soil is good with nutes for 4 weeks dony need any nutes till then.
I did a ppm check on one of my plants and my run off was around 1500 well I definitely messed up on my first try I know next time not to go too heavy with the nutrients
I just did another ppm check and itās pushing 2000 I gave flowering nutrients over the weekend and just been giving water with cal-mag ever other watering so im not over doing it im wondering if before when I was giving nutrients way too much I think Iāve got a lot of build up in the soil should I flush ?
Are you watering to good runoff? If you do you shouldnāt need to really flush, you do many mini flushes to achieve the same thing, I would try to get the soil ppm down to the 800-1000 range.
I get runoff when I water what would u consider good runoff ? Iām just gonna keep doing water only until it gets below 1000 ppm I should be getting close to the end I got a few pics of my trichromes I donāt really see any amber colors I gotta get used to this viewer keeping it still so itās not blurry
Gonna want a good about, %10 or so. Remove runoff and discard,
